Building Recording Studio Furniture

These were my first purchase toward building my own VO recording studio in my apartment and I love them. I don't yet have all the equipment I need for recording so for now, I use them for listening to music but they're great. I'm just getting started in VO work so these have been recommended for real-time monitoring by an instructor. I'll probably upgrade at some point to an even better pair but by far the nicest set I've ever personally owned.

I have been using this cart for moving boxes and furniture from my girlfriends apartment to mine (in the same building), and to the storage unit in our neighboring building, though it's main purpose is to get totes of equipment from my apartment, to the car, and into a venue. It expands, contracts, and folds up in seconds, so you can just throw it in the car once you're loaded up. I've shaved 10-15 minutes off my load-in/load-out process by getting this cart. (I have yet to try it in real MN snow.)I have not used the cart in the hand truck configuration, but I don't think I will need to with how well it works on four wheels.The side bar/handle on the smart caster end is tall enough so I don't have to hunch to hold onto it when I am pulling the cart. I'm 5'9 and this has been a problem for me with other products in the past.You do have to assemble the cart when you get it, but it's quick and painless if you grab a socket instead of listening to the directions and getting out a socket.

Using this to mount my Sony A7S3 to the table top of a piece of studio furniture. Virtually turns that table top into a tripod with the addition of a SmallRig Lightweight Fluid head. This thing is rock solid when locked down and takes up no space in my studio, The price doubled in the last couple years but there is really nothing else like it for the money.

I move a lot of gear and furniture around. As I get older, I relaize it's important to work smarter, not harder. So having a versatile cart that can hold up to 600 lbs in many different shapes is part of that plan. I use the Multicart Flex Straps to secure large loads. When I am in the studio or making a rolling studio, the GripnGaff Jumbo BAG is a genius addition for moving around C-Stands, boom arms and light stands without them sliding all over and falling off the cart.

I use this in a studio setting to reduce the glare when photographing furniture. The filter effectively cuts glare and sharpens contrast. No issues with fit or function - appears to be made very well.

Rigid frame is great for in studio use. I use it primarily for shooting large furniture products to cut cross shadows from my background light. Really great product and is built to last.
