Built In Ceiling Wireless Surround Sound Speakers

This is made for security cameras... but I got it to hang surround sound speakers from the ceiling. It fits perfect for a surround sound pre-wire and the cable goes through the tube for a clean look. My speakers weigh about 6lbs. I dont know if I would go too much over that though.

These are just what I needed to mount surround sound speakers to the prewire electical box mounts in my new build's ceiling. They look great and eliminate the need for drilling other mounts. The hollow interior allows more than enough room for wires to run through, giving a slick look. They also swivel 360 degrees, and tilt up and down. All I had to do was screw them into the existing prewire boxes, and then screw the speakers onto the threads of the mounts. Very simple process, and they look great. Mounts like these shouldn't be this hard to find! Glad I finally stumbled upon them though so I didn't have to do any drilling. Overall, very satisfied with these mounts. Highly recommended for prewired ceiling surround sound setups. Thanks B&H

The AMP is simple to install. It delivers great power to the in-ceiling speakers. I like the surround sound generated.

Great sound even without surround sound speakers.

I added these to the streambar pro. I went ahead and purchased the additional complete surround sound system (Bass Pro and 4 wireless speakers) and let me tell you that you will not find a better 5.1 surround sound system with a streaming device for a better price. Keep these few items in mind: The streambar pro will not work with a Roku TV for the complete surround sound system. The streambar pro does not have an Ethernet port - however you can purchase an adapter that plugs into the USB. The streambar pro does not have Dolby Vision - however it has 4K HDR which is just as good. Does not come with mounting brackets - however you can find some for a good price at pretty much any online or retail store. The surround sound setup was super easy, my 5 year old could have completed it. The awesome adjustable sound settings allow you to choose deep bass or dialogue clarity or anything in between. The bass sounds really good and the wireless speakers provide that amazing surround sound. This is a must have especially if your looking for a complete 5.1 surround sound system without breaking the bank.

I bought this to enhance the sound on my Vizio tv in the bedroom. It performs exactly how I hoped it would. The surround speakers are small and blend right in but sound great! Same with the wireless subwoofer, which was the reason I bought this reasonably priced system--the fact that I didn't need to run any wires. The wireless subwoofer is located in the back of the bedroom and it is wired to the 3 surround speakers, situated on each of our 2 nightstands. Perfect setup and for a bedroom, it's just what we needed. Very happy about the purchase.

I installed 4 of these in the ceiling to upgrade to Dolby Atmos, and they sound great and the built quality is excellent. They were very easy to install cutout a hole and with a philip screwdriver they were set. I was very impressed of the height of the speakers they do not protrude to high, I had a concern with the plywood installed in the attic with these speaker solve the problem. The only minor complaint was the grill they all come in white so if you want them black you have to paint them with spray paint. These are not my first Def Tech they are #11 my whole surround sound is built on Def Tech speakers highly recommend them.

When we bought our house, it came with built in speakers-so I traded my Sonos One SL pair that was being used for surround sound, for the Sonos Amp. The rich quality of sound coming from those in ceiling speakers is amazing. At 10% my wife says says she can feel the music on the other side of the house. It was so easy to install and sync with the Sonos Beam, I'm very impressed by it. Tip for surround sound compatibility: You have to remove the Sonos One units you have as the surround sound in order to add the Amp in their place. Now I'm planning to buy a few more for the rest of the house!

Happy , but just wish could use TV speakers as well for a True surround sound !!

Have two of these for my back speakers, for the ultimate surround sound. The make the sound now so immersive with the arc and sub.
