Built In Microwave Cad Block

I like how it can be regenerated using a microwave oven.

I use it to protect my lens and to block uv rays. It a solid, well built filter.

It is very sturdy and well built. The mounting system and riser block make it work with various lenses. It has a great menu system. It is not too heavy. I greatly prefer this to any other gimbal have.

An indispensable item. I have three in my kit. Built like an engine block and as versatile as a Swiss Army knife.

Basically has all that you need: opaque walls to block ambient light, an in-built light source (non-dimmable), and a variety of backgrounds plus a diffuser. Setting it up was quick and easy, and the price is reasonable. Highly recommended for simple product photography.

Other reviewers have nailed the unprecedented image quality of this lens, and I agree with them. I use it on the SL2 and have never seen the ability to crop very heavily and get highly detailed images. What I wanted to comment on is the feel of the lens on the SL2. Like a good marriage, it adds the built from a solid block to the lens. Other excellent lenses from Sigma and Panasonic are in my lens collection and I am very happy with the image quality from them at much lower cost than the Leica SL lenses, but they feel pretty much like other DSLR/Mirrorless lenses, very nice, but NOT built from a solid block nice! A final note is that the autofocus is instantaneous and silent. As fast and quiet as any lens I have used.
