Built In Surge Protector Plug Strip

After purchasing a new sound bar and Blu-Ray player, my 20+ year old 8-outlet APC surge protector was no longer sufficient for all the devices I have sitting on my TV/audio stand. I found this 10-outlet strip and, based on previous experience and the price, decided this would be a suitable replacement. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Two of the 10 devices that I plug in are USB devices that previously were plugged into AC adapters. With this strip, I can plug those directly into the 2 USB outlets on the strip, giving me two extra AC outlets for future use. Because it is behind my TV stand, the somewhat prominent safe light is not an issue. Having said that, the prominent safe light is nice because it lets you know that the power strip is doing its job. The covers for the unused outlets are also a very nice feature. Very little not to like about this surge protector. Highly recommended.

Needed power strip with no surge protection and with 90 degree plug.

This is very helpful to add another device to the end of an extension cord, without using a large surge protector or power strip. Small and rugged.

This power cord has a long cord, light to show that it is powered on, and the surge protector that you should expect from a power strip.

The APC P8VNTG Power Saving Surge Protector is a great product, potentially impacted by inferior quality. The product itself is attractive, well, as attractive as a power strip can really be. The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting.

Do you need a surge protector? Probably not. But if you are looking for a well-made power strip with plenty of outlets this is a great choice.

Nice featured surge protector. I like the master control outlets feature although I am using my strip in manual mode for audio and musical instrument amplifier power. Haven't experienced any surge issues yet so all good so far.

Works well and much more than a surge protector. I used this to replace my old power strip. It works great adding 8 outlets to my stereo that can be turned on and off from the front of my equipment. The two LED post light let me see my equipment faces so I can make adjustments without turning on the room light.

This is an excellent surge protector. We were able to plug in all items connected to the television, even though all were not the same size.
