Bundle Professional Video Camera

My first professional grade microphone that isn't camera mounted. Bought this as part of a bundle with a boom pole and connection accessories. Everything feels professional grade and the sound is REALLY good. I don't think I would have jumped on this without the bundle though. I got a boom pole, and various connections that enable me to put it on the camera as well as use on a boom. I am extremely happy with this. Will be using for interviews, video competitions, and short films.

Firstly, the video quality is amazing. Secondly, the two lenses that come with this bundle provide me with the opportunity to take great pictures. I live close to Brookside Gardens in Maryland. I have been taking pictures there since the beginning of the pandemic. I got this mirrorless a few weeks ago and have been going there every day using this new camera. There is a marked difference from my old Canon DSLR. As a beginner, untrained photographer, this camera has elevated my picture taking to a new level.

I bought this camera in a military bundle that included the camera (w/ 18-55mm lens, strap, lens cap, usb cable, etc.), the 75-300mm lens, an sd card, and a shoulder bag. I originally wanted to get the a58 by Sony but I ended up choosing this over that one because it was Black Friday and I decided it was the better choice. I am a photography student and an avid videographer, and so far I am pretty satisfied with this camera. It takes really nice photos indoors, outside, and the resolution is spot on. The video functions are much better than the digital camera I had before as it has multiple settings with different dimensions and fps presets, but the one thing that bothers me the most is the noisy video it takes at night. Besides that, I can say this camera is spot on and a fantastic investment for those photographers/videographers who are looking for a camera that won't cost thousands of dollars.

This is a perfect camera for shooting video in 4k, as well as a handy little camera for still photography. Whether you are an amateur or professional, I would recommend it. I've recently been using for YouTube videos and it doesn't disappoint. I came from a DSLR background and I appreciate the low light capabilities of the mirror less cameras. With a bundle containing all the necessities (minus a good external mic) for a low price I would definitely recommend the G7 bundle!

This is an amazing bundle from Rode! It has everything for a novice [myself] to get started with a semi-professional setup [simply because I am new at this]. Love the setup so far. Just waiting for the arm to arrive so I can mount it for any ergonomic setup.
