We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly. 5 |

Slimline external usb drive for Macbook Pro. I've used this to burn both cd's and dvd's, as well as creating file backups. Reliable and fast! 5 |

This unit is humming along nicely. As the disc format is on the way out my need to burn discs is less than ever but this unit does the job well. 5 |

I will be using this hard drive for my main working disc for photo and video editing between three computers and an iPad. It's been perfect so far. No complaints whatsoever. Sure it would be nice if it didn't cost a buck, but it's definitely a better value than the 2 TB offering and faster than anything that I've seen in this price range. SanDisk has some offerings worth considering if you don't need this much speed, but I do want to point out that both companies include 5 year warranties on most of their professional drives, and Lacie/ Seagate includes 5 years of date recovery too. My other issue with the best bus-powered SanDisk drive currently is that is that my Macs won't support 20 Gbps bandwidth via USB-C. Only 10... so you're paying for extra performance that you can't use if you're machine doesn't support the latest USB (not Thunderbolt 3/4). 5 |

I burn ONE from the computer (source), then Duplicate that disc as the source and get about 24 DVD's per hour, (30 min. episode on disc) I love how I can hook it up to the computer & use it stand alone... very easy. But... I think it's a bit Big & Heavy, so make room for it. 5 |
