Button Order For Arcade Machine

The well-made and sturdy, almost arcade game style push button knobs are a perfect companion to Adobe Lightroom. One of the most useful gadgets I have purchased. I use them in conjunction with all the other Palette products but they are maybe the most useful. I have set them up to 'Edit in Photoshop', 'Increase Rating', 'Crop Tool', 'Before/After' and 'Undo'. Once you get used to the new way of controlling your workflow, they rock!

I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer.

I have never been happier with a purchase. I honestly can say that I am blown away by the improvement in picture quality, color accuracy, and just the comfort of the aspect ratio. To be fair I have been using the cheapest available 1080p LCD monitor until now (also from Acer). Regardless, this is an incredible step up, and I wish I had done it sooner. I have decided to use this monitor primarily for my daily surfing and media manipulation machine. I only briefly played some games, and they looked great too, but I decided to go with a dedicated gaming monitor for that machine. I highly recommend you consider this monitor in your shopping list. The specs speak for themselves. And the out of box calibration is great. I will look into what else I can do to perhaps improve upon it. But for now I am simply enjoying my clearly superior purchase. B&H also got this monitor to me faster than even they estimated. 2 days! That's pretty awesome. Cons: The only con for me, like most monitors, changing inputs requires far too many button presses and menu navigation. The monitor does look sleek and clean without any visible front facing buttons, but I would still prefer if there were options available where all I needed to do is press a corresponding button for which input I wanted to switch to. I find it tedious to have to go through 5 steps just to switch from HDMI to Display Port or VGA. It would be simpler and faster if there were just 3 corresponding hotkeys.

This unit comes with two remotes. There is a wireless remote and a wired remote. There is also an activation button on the back of the machine. The wireless works pretty well. The distance is ok. I'm sure a new battery and better placement would have given me better range. Not saying what I had was bad. You press and hold down the button and fog comes out. You let go of the button and it stops. This is true with the button on the back, wireless or wired. This unit has a 10,000 cfm output. They claim that this unit is a fog on demandmachine . It seemed to always put out fog whenever I pushed the button. No waiting around for the machine to be ready to make fog. This series was the only one to advertise this feature. (minus the smallest unit) I can say for the other companies, but Chauvet was the only one I saw. There are LED indicators that illuminate the tank, so it makes the whole container glow. Nice touch! The tank holds 1/4 of a gallon. For a small party I probably used 10% of the container. There is a removable cord. It would be neat if these connectors would plug directly into the end of a standard 3 prong extension instead of a cord with a connector like the ones used on computer towers.

I was finally able to replace my old hit a button go fix a sandwich windows XP machine. I wanted a replacement that would do the job now while at the same time keep on ticking for years to come. This machine sits nicely in the middle with a 13th gen I7 processor, 32GB of included RAM, onboard DVD drive, a fast booting SSD and room to add more. I bought a Xcellon DisplayPort to VGA Adapter to connect my old Samsung SyncMaster 213T monitor and it works fine. Windows 11 could do better as far as drivers for older peripherals; it took a bit of doing but I have most of mine up and running now. The things I don't like so far: 1) Windows 11 takes it an inordinately long time to wake up from sleep mode. and 2) the DVD drive is pretty flimsy- like a cheap version of what you used to get in laptops. It remains to be seen how well it will hold up. Other than the inevitable learning curve and growing pains when upgrading to a new computer, that's about it.

Great machine with a excellent results, this equipment is one of my best tool in order to do my Day.
