Don't buy generic battery. Buy Canon or brand battery for your camera. It's worth the money and don't have to worry about dead batter after a year with them generic ones. Works great on my Canon. 5 |

Be smart, buy the insurance... I'm so thankful that I bought the Canon Carepak (and NEEDED IT!!) I was visiting with a camera store and asked them to tell me a story to comfort me (you see, my camera and lens took a spill that required repairs and thankfully I had the Canon Carepak!! They were awesome!) Anyway, the guy that worked at the camera store told me a story about a guy who bought a new camera and $12K worth of lenses. HE TRIED TO SELL HIM THE CANON CAREPAK but the buyer declined. OH what a mistake he made, he found out when he went to the Grand Canyon... Somehow.... His 12k worth of gear (and I think camera) took a DIVE INTO THE GRAND CANYON!!! OUCH!! Ok, ok, you get the picture. So, he learned the hard way for sure. I've learned, buy the warrantee when it comes to camera gear. 5 |

I would never buy a camera body without it, smashed my rear screen once and Canon fixed it and had it back to me in a few days. 5 |

Had the Canon Vixia HF200 for about 3 weeks now and it works perfectly! Only thing I wish is that the UV and other filters fit inside the fixed camera lens cap. When you buy a UV filter to protect the lens (and you SHOULD), you also need to buy a les cap to cover it. They are cheap but not something you find at ... so order it from B&H when you order the UV. Otherwise the camera is Brilliant... Not needing tapes any more makes it all worthwhile... and the HD is very impressive! Also, buy a spare battery... you will be happy you did. The LCD is very bright at clear so you will love that! 5 |

Normally, I buy OEM Canon accessories. Have for years. but this time, as I'm searching for a wireless off-camera flash trigger, I saw this on the B&H site and started reading the reviews. I started a chat with the B&H technical folks and was given some pretty impressive opinions. At $150 less than the Canon unit, I'd expect some loss of features/quality/craftsmanship. Not the case. This thing does everything the high-priced spread does. I, like many reviewers, found the instruction manual lacked some cohesive explanations regarding how to set the unit up, but a quick Google search brought me to several YouTube videos where I quickly learned the menu system and basic set up. Once I got the Canon 600EX RT to connect to the right channel, both units lit up and the flash fired without a problem. I can even change the intensity of the flash by several steps right from the unit on the camera. It even supports the auto-focus mode of the 600. This is a great product. I have a competely different set of flash trigger transmitters/receivers for my studio light set up for my Alien Bees strobes, but this unit, working with 2 Canon 600s is the perfect setup. 5 |

I actually bought this camera for my Mom. I've owned several Canon cameras, and wouldn't buy anything else. It's perfect for her, small, light weight, and easy to use, not to mention good image quality. 5 |
