Buy Cheap Watch Batteries

Most people buy cheap batteries. Made in china. Batteries that last 10 times less than the Japanese batteries. Now I ask you, what is cheap? Pay less buy 10 times more. What is cheap? The Batteries from Japan on the other hand last at least 10 times more than the Chinese ones. That is value. High value against low value. OH, but I pay less on each unit! LOL I only purchase Nikon batteries after long time fuzzing with the wrong ones. With Nikon batteries you always win. You have to carry less number of backup battery because you don't need to replace it very often. In the case of the Nikon EN-EL18d. I shoot all weekend long with one battery (photo only no video) I have a back up on my back pack. that's it. Two batteries and I am a happy camper! Anyways I could right a book about this! LOL B&H service and zippy shipping are the best!

Don't buy the Fuji (to expensive) but don't go ultra cheap with your batteries.

I know it's important to purchase authentic batteries. Why buy a BMW and then power it with a cheap engine that might cause issues? Getting this battery is a good idea!

It's pricey, as is everything else Profoto, but there's no reason to go cheap and buy the 2.8A charger when this is available. It's saves time and allows you to own fewer batteries by being able to charge FAST.

Every photographer I have let hold one of these has bought one. Do yourself a favor, stop reading and buy it. It's less then $100 and compares favorably to an ICE light 2 ($500). You will thank me. Just buy it already, your only question is how many do you need. I think three is the right number for me. If you need more information then know that I can manually color match to the daylight outside and use it as a fill light instead of carrying around a reflector in anything short of direct sunlight. It's that bright. It's compact; I carry two of them and a few extra batteries in a cloth tripod case (the case it came with is rubbish). The light it puts off is already very soft but if you are like me and want to get it even more diffuse then you can tape some cheap rice paper over the light and it will look just as good as anything on the market. I shove my ricepaper covered lights into and out of a tight cloth case and the rice paper lasted 4 shoots before it started showing any ware and tear. The batteries are cheap, buy a ton of them and a charger that lets you charge a few at a time. The RGB is great but not very bright. You manually control the intensity of each color red, green, blue, separately. I use the app to find the color I want and then manually adjust the second light to match the first as the phone app will only control one light at a time. I'm probably going to buy a few more of these in the future. I can't imagine shooting portraits on location without them.

I will only buy these kinds of batteries from B&H, they are made in USA and APC OEM, don't risk buying cheap Chinese knock-offs from Amazon...these typically last over 5-6 years and longer.

non-OEM batteries are cheap but if they don't hold up, is it really cheaper? I prefer to buy once cry once and spend the money on the quality first. These batteries just work.
