I have a small sound system for my computer. I wanted to add a television to this system with a small 2 channel mixer. I got a loud grounding hum. I tried many things to get rid of this like making sure all the devices were plugged into the same AC outlet, making sure every unit was grounded correctly, etc. No success. I purchased this unit because of the different inputs and outputs so that it would be versatile for other applications if I wanted to use it for another purpose in the future. It works great.
