Used it to record a musical that had voices staged centered and in the wings. The shotgun zoom and 90 degree setting were great for centered voices, and the 120 degree setting handled the voices in the wings beautifully. It really cuts down most of the ambient sounds. Haven't used the wind screen yet - but it's nice to have it when I need it. Great value for the price. 5 |

The Play 5 was a great addition to my musical equipment. I am old school still using a turntable, amplifier and large speakers. I am amazed with the quality of the sound coming from a single unit of that size. I have only one speaker and cannot comment on the stereo sound quality.
