Buy Waterproof Action Camera

I am using this waterproof remote on my fishing charters. I have the camera mounted on the mast, and when the action heats up... I just push the button and put it in my pocket or setting it down knowing it is not getting messed up. My customers are so happy to get digital video of all their action. I reccomend this with the Pentax camera with the GPS.

I did not expect this much from an $ action camera and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. When I received the camera the first thing that I noticed was the surprising amount of accessories: a waterproof case, 2 adhesive mounts, 1 extra backdoor with slits for sound recording, 1 Car mount/case (intended for mounting on tripods and cars. it has a clip on the back and screw holes in the top and bottom for mounting purposes), 4 different mounts for the waterproof case, 2 zip ties, 1 wall to camera charging cable, and 1 6-inch metal mounting cable.Most of the mounts are compatible with GoPro cameras. As for the camera, the videos look amazing. Contrast is a little slow but not a problem. There are many quality, sharpness, and contrast settings in the menu (which by the way is very easy to use). The outside of the camera is made of plastic but it does not feel cheap. The camera also takes time lapse videos and can act as a motion detecting security camera. The camera takes good still photos for an action camera but if you just want to take pictures not videos you should look into a different camera. Pros: Easy to use, good quality, so many mounts!, waterproof case makes for some amazing underwater footage, extra wide angle lens, time lapse, 95 minute battery life, good dash cam, can connect to pc and act as a webcam, does not feel cheap.Cons: 720P 60Fps is not actually 60fps. It is 30fps that doubles every frame. No slow motion.

I love to shoot heavy Shorebreak and this Waterproof case can handle some heavy action!

What did this cost...$10? I'll buy two. It's made right and the spring action will hold your camera tightly. Nicely done--feels solid, not cheap--metal where needed and stiff, sturdy plastic elsewhere. Recommended.

Phenomenal value - the SJ4000 does everything I want it to and at 1/3 the cost of the other action camera I was looking to buy. It also appears to the genuine article. B&H's shipping is top notch. Will definitely be a customer again.

I normally shoot with a Canon 1DX, great camera. On our last european vacation I found myself lugging around way too many lenses, accessories and not to mention all that weight. All I used was my 28-35 2.8 mostly. All shots were set at 35mm and only once I pulled out the 70-200 2.8 Found this baby and now have been shooting with it for one week and yes I am going to sell my Canon 1DX The 35mm lens is just superb and the finished product is amazing. The quality is actually sharper; oh & lets not forget the auto focus. It rocks on this small camera. The action shots it takes are perfect, yes you have to get into the action because of its 35mm but that makes it so much more fun too :) I can't say enough good things about this camera. If the money it costs does not change your life style go ahead and buy it, you won't regret it. Oh and do not buy a flash for this bad boy, it does not need it. Totally rocks in low light situations...
