Buy Wind Instruments

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments.  The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections.  Versatile and great sound quality.

I like wind instruments. This is that and so much more. Nice features make playing sound like the real thing. Tried it all but haven't used it as a midi controller yet

SM57s are THE standard mic for instruments. Of course you can buy specialty mics that sound better on specific instruments. For general stage use, though, you just can't beat a 57. This bundle is a great value. For only $10 more than the mic alone you get a stand (seems decent, if not super sturdy) and a mic cable (too early to tell how long it'll last but seems fine so far).

Great replacement lamp for all of our instruments.

Haven't used them yet , but am sure they will securely hold my instruments down .

What else can be said about the 57? Instruments, vocals, everything.

Wind bad, this good. Keep wind out.

We use this mic for most of our interviews. If you can only afford one mic, I would buy this before a shotgun or lav. You will need to buy a blimp to use this outside as it is very sensitive to wind. We use the small cyclone.

I was skeptical to buy this item because the price was just too good to be true. But thankfully, it has been great. I do not use it outside with wind although if you buy weights you probably can use it. The only downside to this product is that it is not wrinkle-free, but for the price, you really can't complain.
