Buying Computers Online

I have had numerous HP computers, printers, & laptops. I wouldn't think of buying something else then HP!!

These days, laptops are so competent that they fulfill most of the functions of low-end desktop computers. However, if the user needs more computational power one has to enter the esoteric environment of higher-end computers that are best known for appealing to gamers. Most of the former big-name computer producers no longer service this segment or it is difficult for the private individual access this sort of progress. Fortunately, there are a few manufacturers still remaining in this segment. CyberPowerPC seems to be one. While their product undoubtedly evolves given advances in component technologies, I found that the model I recently bought serves my purposes very well with its Intel Core i7 CPUA, SRock mainboard, and nVidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card very well meets my needs. On the negative side, I need more USB ports than the measly few that come as standard with the box. I remedied this by adding a couple of multi-port USB cards in the empty slots that were available but I would have preferred to have a few more USB ports as standard. I love the 1 tB SSD to which I have added a couple of standard HDDs to provide all the storage I need. In summary, I am very happy with the package I now have. I never felt this was the sort of thing I would be comfortable buying online (I would rather buy a car online than a computer) so I went to B&H Photo in Manhattan to see what was available. I went early in the morning when the store was not too busy and get patient, friendly, and useful advice from JR and walked out with the computer. Their prices are always competitive but there is nothing like seeing the product in person and getting the benefit of their expertise.

Apple customers should always purchase Apple Care with their electronic purchases. Even though you are buying the best computers, audio and electronics, you can still have problems. Apple care is cheap insurance for your expensive purchase. Apple Care is as good a program as the Apple products are.

I bought many computers from B&H over the years I have never ever ever had an issue. They’re a great company to do business with and I highly recommend them. Sadly I have some sad health news so I probably won’t be buying too many more, but I am buying a bunch of computers for my friends and my kids and grand kids. They should have made black MacBooks years ago! One if the sharpest computers I’ve ever seen!

Sometimes buying new computer hardware for old computers is a dice roll. Not this thing. Just popped it in my 2006 2.6 Mac Pro and it works like a charm. Great product.

At first I was apprehensive about buying this product, but I did it anyway. There were some reviews about how this mixer lowered the output to levels that would be too low for multiple computers. I did not find this to be the case at all. The product is sturdy, and has a good output for mixing multiple computers and game systems. I am stoked.

This is a must have add-on as most issues with computers usually don't happen until after the first year. B&H also gives you a price break as opposed to buying directly from Apple and automatically registers your hardware for you saving time and hassle.
