Buying Phones With Consumer Cellular

At $230, I do not know how much more one gets for phones that cost 2 and 3 times as much. I did see it on consumer Cellular for $ 150

Use this with JK Audio SportMix to interface with *newer* cellular phones. Today's Android and IPhones require a 4-conductor cable to work properly with the mixer. Simple replacement to standard 3-conductor cable. Works flawlessly with new phones for much better clarity over the air.

I will keep the lenses and keep buying the cases whenever I chance phones.

I really like the iPad mini. I use it for a monitor for flying my drone. I wish I had gotten the mini with WI-FI and cellular. I appreciate how B &H took care of me when buying it.

Be sure to read this entire review to avoid possible misunderstanding of what you are buying. I purchased this after struggling for a year with a similar but mediocre model from another maker that I had deployed in a church. What a difference, like night to day. It's a great performer and it is good-looking on the ceiling. I never hear complaints about dropped Wifi connections anymore. Administration of the unit, too, is fantastic, very versatile and thoroughly convenient. Now, here is the thing: this really is an enterprise product which the manufacturer offers at what they pitch as disruptive pricing, meaning equipment well worth considering for business but selling at consumer prices. That is why you need to understand what you are buying. It can be used with great results in a home or small office, but you need some LAN savvy and some additional equipment as well: (1) a modest security gateway and (2) a host on your network to act as the administration dashboard for one or more access points in this product line. B&H sells a suitable gateway to fulfill #1, listed as Unifi Enterprise gateway Router. Mine happens to be Cisco RV325 instead. Requirement #2 can simply be a Windows PC, but it can also be Linux, so I I am using a Raspberry Pi for this. Unlike many consumer-grade access points, you do NOT log onto the access point to perform administration, you log onto the independently hosted dashboard. To sum up, expect great results. But to deploy at home or in a small office, you'll need to emulate on a minute scale what enterprise would do.
