This is a great design - it can hold Acoustics and Electric guitars with little chance of them accidentally banging together. 5 |

I have always used 10's on all my electric guitars. After watching a YouTube video that compared the tone of different gauge strings, I decided to switch to lighter strings. I'm really surprised that these don't feel too light for me. They have a clearer tone than the D'Addario 10's I was using. 5 |

Small Office, Several large acoustic guitars, several electric guitars. This stand handles the lot where others would only handle so many of the acoustics. The split top part seemed strange at first but now that I've gotten used to it I like it. I can tilt the guitars nicely in either direction with this feature. I didn't know that was important until I had that option. It feels solid, like it will last well. This feels like a good use of my money!!!! 5 |

The perfect stand for being able to get microphones into the right position and height for acoustic guitars, dobros, mandolins, banjos, squeeze boxes, cello etc. in addition to vocals. Use it in combination with the Atlas boom and this stand becomes the most universal device to cover most needs. 5 |

I thoroughly enjoy this microphones' ability to capture the audio spectrum of my Taylor 414 guitar. The guitars' stock electronics in no way reproduce the sound of this guitar as authentically as will the MXL 990. I know there are more expensive mics but to supersede its' quality of reproduction within the budget of a home studio is nowhere to be found. Thank you AB 5 |

I used to record voice-over and acoustic guitars with RODE NT and NT1a condenser microphones which are considered to be relatively entry level microphones. They've always delivered what was expected. After having LEWITT LCT 441 Flex, my preferences have completely changed. This was a serious upgrade for me. I have used it for male vocals so far and L441 Flex has a nice warm natural tone to it... Multi-pattern feature is fantastic. I have tried it for recording electric guitars off a cabinet and having many options in one piece of gear is a bliss. It comes with a small pop filter (metal mesh) which fits very close to the cone with magnets, however it does not provide reliable filtering. When used with an external pop filter, it might give you a second layer of filter in case you might need it. 5 |

I bought this microphone because I was in need of microphones to record guide tracks for choirs. I needed a simple mic and the SM57 look is perfect because it's plain and simple. This is not an SM57! And it doesn't need to be because it is still a great mic. I use it for individual voices on choirs, voice overs, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, ukuleles, and drums. Because it's a dynamic, it isolates the sound fairly well. I love this microphone. I own 3 of them all from B&H. I own a studio and actually don't even own even one real SM57 because I don't need it. This does a great job. I have plenty of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Recording. I've also used them on kick drums and they sound surprisingly well. I've also used this microphone at a live event where the speakers were using these microphones. The only thing that I can list as a con is that the connector at the bottom became loose. All I had to do was push the little plastic plate that holds the xlr pins in and problem solved! 5 |

Have always used SM 57s for guitar cabinet microphones but never felt they were all that great and accepted that I would loose some tone. Not so with the e609. It sounds much better and the flat design is great! Just hang it over the can right in the center of a speaker! It handles high volume no problem. This mic gives the FOH mix more of what you want! 5 |
