These lights are a great value. The stands are small but nicely made. I really like the Bicolor feature. The barn doors are well made. Excellent value.

Seems well made, packs nicely in the small included case, and the barn doors fit and work well. Two batteries with ac and dc charges included.

These are a little expensive for as small as they are, but they can do some heavy lifting with the focusable lens, barn doors, the bi color, and the ability to run off a relatively small battery. The bowen mount soft box and accessory options are nice too! These basically replace an Arri 300 fresnel.

just the right size for some small light stands and some sunpac /westcot icelights ( or strobes ) with barn doors and a pop up background - well padded

I bought two of these lights, I also bought two ets of barn-doors and brellas for these. These are great small light-weight lights that put out a lot of light for it's size. I don't even use the case for these, I jut throw them into my backpack with some small nano manfrotto light stands, this is my small and flexible light package. All I have to carry is my Sony EX3 or Panny AF1100 in a Kata bag, a small 501 tripod, and these lights in my backpack with some gels/diffusion and clothes pins. and I have even smaller Lowel L lights too. I can walk for miles with everything I need to do most basic jobs.

I use a top light over small art pieces (pots, jewelry, statues) that I photograph for galleries. I need to control the area where the light will fall. I put some light falling on the background and allow a little spill forward towards the item I am shooting. I purchased the barndoors as the best solution to the problem. They were inexpensive and I didn't expect much for the price. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! The barn doors are made of heavy gauged metal. The fit on my lights with S mount is perfect. The doors slide easily around the ring. The barn doors move smoothly and hold in place. The black paint is perfect. The kit comes with two grids to further modify the light. The barn doors are modestly priced but, they deliver as promised. You will not be disappointed! The photo shows the basic lighting I use. L & R on the item.
