Cable Matters Dual Hard Drive Docking Station

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Plugable USB 3 Universal Docking Station for Dual Monitor in Black color features a hybrid 2-in-1 USB 3.0 and USB-C cable, and supports dual HDMI, and comes with 2 Year Warranty, which is amazing. This laptop docking station's compatibility is universal and it is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.x and 7, macOS 10.14 or later, and ChromeOS 100 or later. Plug and play driver installation via Windows Update; manual driver installation on macOS. Dock does not charge host PC. I have already recommended the Plugable USB 3 Universal Docking Station for Dual Monitor to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and used this docking station to manage their dual monitors quite easily and they all love to use this device.

If you have a lot of loose hard drive but don't want to buy an enclosure for each drive, you need this docking station.

This hard drive docking station is terific in a lab environment or anywhere you need to format or image a large volume of drives. It supports both 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch drives over USB 3.0 so speed is not an issue. When connecting the smaller 2.5 inch drives a plastic shield pops up to protect the internals from dust, etc. If I had to change one thing about this docking station it would be to have a similar protection shield when no drives are in use but this is only a minor annoyance. I bought this to see if I could get dual monitor operation from my HP docking station. It was very easy to install, and after a few display adjustments, went right to work. I am very pleased with the display quality, which I attribute in part to the cables construction. I would purchase this same adapter/cable again for other applications.

The image quality is sharp to me for my day to day work. I have not had a real chance to use it during any heavy gaming, but I'm pretty confident it should do well. I'm very impressed how quick this docking station was to get set up. I personally ran into no issues. I installed the drivers, plugged everything in, and was good to go. There are so many ports that I haven't run into a single compatibility issue since I've set it up. Highly recommend.

This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need.
