I recently also bought a Samsung UHD monitor from B & H to use with my laptop, and though the monitor includes an HDMI cable, a friend recommended my buying the Mini DisplayPort Adapter Cable for even higher quality than the HDMI. Not only was it inexpensive, it definitely makes a worthwhile difference in sharper and richer picture quality, and would highly recommend this product to anyone wishing to improve their monitor picture quality. 5 |

Bought to connect Dell desktop 8700 to new Samsung monitor. connectors sit well. Picture on Monitor looks good. My son (physics grad student) said it was really nice (had bought him one too). Fairly stiff 1/4 cable.....like a typical VGA cable (it does have a lot of conductors). Gold connectors. Looks very nice. 5 |

It's as described: beautiful, fast, and functional. I'm using it with a decent Samsung external monitor — flawless. Migration Assistant worked very well from my old iMac 27 Retina using an old Thunderbolt 2 MiniDisplay cable with a USB C adapter. Some said it wouldn't work, but apparently the MacBook Air powered the cable and migrated the files. Since then, I've been working on files, backing up to an old Time Capsule, swapping files, and performing my usual tasks — this laptop doesn't even get warm! It's perfect. 5 |
