Calculate Percent Ionization From Diluted Stock

ID-11 is easy to mix. It produces excellent negatives using it as stock, or diluted 1:1 or 1:2. I have used it all three ways and been very satisfied each time.

Product works great. However, BHPhoto description says This powder-washing aid contains enough chemistry to make 1.25 gal of stock solution, which should then be diluted 1:4 to prepare the working solution. This is incorrect. The packet makes .25 gal of stock solution, which (when diluted 1:4) makes 1.25 gal of working solution.

It is a general purpose developer for a variety of B&W films producing good results. It is very convenient because you can transport it without problems (due to recent shipping regulations you can not transport liquids). You can store the diluted stock solution for a long time (according to the spec. 6 months in airtight bottle). Hint: as you use the solution, put some marbles in the bottle to keep it airtight. Easy to dilute the stock solution. Add component B immediately after comp. A is diluted to avoid oxidation of active chemicals and filter it after dilution is ready.

I didn't like this film all that much until I started developing longer than specified . D76 stock at an extra ten percent gave beautiful results. Atththeir

I love the long tonal range I achieve by using ID11 diluted 1:3 with HP5 120!

I like Ilford's products when it comes to film and developing chemicals. At first I had issues trying to calculate how much powder to use to make the amount I need to use for developing ( so I could maximize the shelf life)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not the ink's fault it ran out way too soon! I didn't calculate the "small" amount of printing our 2 person household actually prints! But works fine in my HP printer, all the way to the last drop!

I wasn't sure if this was going to work well or not but I find it does make it easier to calculate the lighting in my studio. It's very easy to read and use. Helps with realizing the light needed and helps us understand the quality of light. Overall good product that I would recommend if you're thinking about it.

Purchased to use with the C70 - works great and the C70 is able to calculate the record time left. Record time much better than a standard Canon BP-A30 battery more like a Canon BP-A60 battery. The D-Tap works great for an Atomos Ninja V or an Osee T7. Only 2 I tested so far. No issues recharging in the standard Canon BP-A battery charger that came with the C70 - Yes a little long in the back side, but fantastic on a shoulder rig or tripod setup.
