I always depend on two providers when I need to reorder Epson ink. Epson for the quality of their ink and B&H for the Epson ink stock they have available. Thank you Epson and B&H. 5 |

I got the last one in stock (time to reorder, B&H!) and I can see why... the Mel9 pedal adds a completely new vibe to any electric guitar setup. It's very dynamic and responsive, only slightly losing track with very soft notes. Send the dry out to one amp, and the effect out to another (or the sound board) and your sound palette gets very big very quickly. Like everyone else probably did, I immediately dialed in the flute sound and learned Strawberry Fields Forever, but it doesn't stop there. Strings, cello, orchestra and choir sounds are super-fun and very authentic - even down to the warbly tape sound. One thing I'm considering is putting an EQ pedal on Mel9 as its sounds can be a little harsh in the midrange. Dial that back, add some reverb, set the attack and decay at about 1 o'clock, and you have a string pad like keyboard players have always enjoyed - at a fraction of the cost of MIDI guitar synth. Play around with pickup settings too, as the effect sound definitely responds differently to neck vs. bridge pickups. Playing speed is also a factor... most of the sounds take a little time to bloom, so staccato, rapid picking probably won't let the sounds fully develop. But for adding a huge layer and vintage texture to your sound, the Mel9 is where it's at. I can't wait to try it on bass guitar too. This one will be used a lot. 5 |

I stuck with the name that made the AP so I didn't have to think about it. I did order the wrong voltage level first and had to reorder the correct voltage since they are listed as the same product with a variation/option. That is on me and not B&H or Ubiquiti though. 5 |

This stand brings a level of safety to my shoots...significant benefit over a c-stand and standard avenger arm. 5 |

The InReach Mini 2 is something I've been looking for to provide that next level of safety and communications. I sometimes ride my motorcycle alone, or go fishing/hiking in remote areas. Being able to let others know you are alright or track your location in remote areas without cell service is priceless. Having a backup option to our cell phones as a way to communicate with my wife if networks are busy or down was also a deciding factor on my purchase. The one thing I've noticed is the battery consumption seems to be more than I would have expected, so having a backup energy source to charge the device is recommended in some scenarios. 5 |

For its simplicity and ingenuity this product could be put up there with the safety pin! The high level of security it offers is totally disproportionate to the very reasonable price. 5 |

Since many live video shoots are mission critical, with no option to monitor the output with phones, you're going to have to monitor the audio at the camera to be sure you're not clipping, or deponents are not causing overload with their couphing or shouting. Those who use this mixer without monitoring are taking a chance their audio could be ruined, even though you have LED level indicators. You never want to rely on level meters alone for audio levels. Also, this model doesn't have limiters to provide a safety zone for unexpected audio spikes, which are, again, a way to ruin a deposition video, because you're prohibited from sweetening in post, if that would rarely fix a distortion problem in the first place. I'd recommend an automatic mixer for depo's to cut interference, provide source monitoring and allow engaging limiters for extra safety. EVen the used vintage Shure FP410's would be an excellent choice. Gang two together for 8 channel capability. Or, the new Shure FP810s also. However, this is a nice solution for audio reinforcement use where real time monitoring is not an issue and where a baby Mackie would be an overkill. This would be great for a small corporate event, a personal house party, outdoor backyard event where you might want to incorporate both a mic and a line-level or consumer audio source in the mix. Send the signal to powered speakers and you're home free. I'm still not convinced that the omission of the power switch is a benefit. I kinda miss it. Seems odd. Rugged construction, like all Shure products, make this a durable purchase. 5 |
