I have used many different tripods and this one is worth it's weight (which isn't much) in gold! Portable, smooth and reasonably priced.

I bought these as back-up cables and haven't used them uet...but they're affordable and will be more than worth their weight in gold when one of my primary cables goes down and I'm standing in the middle of Northern Michigan without a spare. I'm gonna order 2 more if they offered 1.5 foot cables.

Although this isn't an inexpensive lens... it is worth it's weight in gold. The wide angle is perfect. no vignetting. I LIKE it! you will too.
