Before calibrating my monitor printing was just not working. After calibrating the monitor it was much better but still wasn't quite right. Calibrating the paper for your printer which is what this kit allows you to do is really the best. I know some companies will profile your printer on their paper but with this you can do it yourself and not have to wait for the profile to come back ... this takes very little time, is very easy to use and works brilliantly!

The BenQ is a great monitor and the calibrating software works really well with good instructions. It is a big investment but worth every cent!

I have to say that color calibrating, my BenQ monitor was more complicated than I thought. The problem is that there are a number of settings that people have to enter before starting, and it is not that easy to enter the correct settings. This involved several calls to BenQ monitor support and watching YouTube videos. Having said this, I can report that the data color spider X2 elite made it as easy as possible, and did not add any other problems. The instructions were clear and I did not need to call them up. The process was logical and worked exactly as there user manual indicated. In the end I had to make only minor adjustments in the color. I would recommend this software.

I have this attached to my MacBook Pro as my main monitor and I use it for photo editing. I like it. I haven't gotten around to calibrating it yet but it seems pretty good anyway and my shots seem to look good across a lot of devices and monitors.

Expensive but fantastic results. I use a calibrated monitor and my prints match very well. Calibrating the printer cost too much to pursue but it is hard to see how the prints could get that much mobetta.

Being color blind this takes the guess work out of calibrating your monitor. It seemed like my photos on screen had a more natural feel and it makes editing them easier.

Calibrating my monitor was one of those things that I knew were important but I always procrastinated doing. After getting a new 4K monitor in which the color didn't match my old 32 Dell monitor I was in desperate need of put the color issue to rest once for all. I also have always wanted to try using the color passport. I was expecting to get better color accuracy and correct color balance. I tested yesterday during a sledding session my my kids and I was immediately sold. Not only the white balance was perfect, but my images were taken to a whole new level after correcting the RAW files with the ColorChecker Passport. Everything seems more vibrant, and alive. It is like I took my pictures with a very expensive medium format Hasselblad. I highly recommend calibrating your monitor and using the Color Checker passport.

I use this paper with the Epson Stylus Pro 7900 printer and Epson inks. After calibrating my monitor's color space with the printer, camera and Adobe CS5, I was amazed with the results. It took a while to learn how to manage the complete system, but, I am now making high quality 24 x 36 inch prints that are very sharp even when viewed as close as ten to twelve inches.
