California Security Camera Laws

I purchased this to use at my in-laws cottage strictly as a security camera. With no one there 6 months out of the year and it being closed up without any electricity; it is nice to be able to keep track of the exterior. I'm able to see if anyone is there, not to mention the occasional deer, raccoon or fox that wonders by.

Works as advertised but I cannot use it due to local laws.

I took a road trip from Michigan to California recently and the UV filters not only kept my camera lenses scratch free but also kept dust dirt and sand off of the lenses. I feel that i would rather replace an inexpensive UV filter over a very expensive camera lens.

I bought this camera for a trip to California. I haven't made it out there yet, but I've been playing around with the camera at home. It takes very nice, clear pictures. My photographer boyfriend says it has the best image quality for its size. I bought it on his suggestion and I've been very pleased! The menu is intuitive, even for someone that has no real idea what half the options mean. I've never had a digital camera before, and I'm really glad that I started with this one.
