A very nice unit for my Apple Apple Studio unit!

I used to do high-end studio photography and loved it! Lighting was always the most important criterion for producing a great image. Same with video. We bought five GVM 800D-RGB LED Studio 3-Video Lights to shoot short videos in our tiny home studio. While they were not suitable for lighting a green screen (power output too low), we found them perfect for lighting people and product. These are easy to set up and use and adjust, and easy to store. I recommend the GVM 800D-RGB LED Studio 3-Video Lights for shooting people and product up close (less than 10 feet away). I do NOT recommend them for lighting large green screens, as the lights are too small and the power output is too low. We tried every way possible to light a 10-foot-wide x 12-foot-high green muslin, but it gave us hot spots where the lights hit, and would not diffuse radially far enough to create a smoothly lit green screen.

There are so many uses for the apple boxes around the studio and they'll last forever.

In my previous review of my new Apple Mac Studio M2 Max I mentioned I purchased it to replace my old Mac mini. What I didn't know is that my great Apple 27 LED Cinema Display wasn't compatible with the new Mac Studio video output. There was some confusion on my part activating my new iPad so I called Apple support and though the tech was very earnest, she couldn't solve my trouble. After a long time on the call, she passed me to a senior tech who brusquely said the iPad was defective and send it back to the seller (!?). I did get an appointment to visit Apple store to see genius for the following day. The next morning I decide to call Apple support one more time. That tech knew exactly what the problem was and had the iPad activated in minutes. He also sent me some links to user guides for the iPad. So an hour trip to the Apple store wasn't needed after all.

For a reasonable fee, the care package lets you call Apple whenever you have questions about your computer. I've even called before about how to use a software package and the reps were very thorough and knowledgeable. With a Mac, problems are fewer, I've found, than with a Windows machine, but it's always nice to know there's someone on the phone to help (without racking up fees) when you need or want it.

The price B&H offers for this protection plan is unbeatable! A no-brainer must-have for any Macbook Pro. It's better you call Apple Support to register this add-on - a much faster process.

Fast shipping, good packaging and product is as described. I had to call Apple and they acknolwedged my product was under warranty so that confirms this is legitimate. (If there was any doubt)
