Call Sound Quality Bose 700 Headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are like me, you're deciding between these 1000XM4's or the Bose 700, and after using both, I can definitely see the appeal in these. Battery life and ANC are stellar in these sets of headphones, and audio quality is great as well! Design is rather subdued, but in a good way. These are comfortable headphones with ample padding without getting too heavy, and a case that makes it smaller to pack than the Bose 700. I wish these Sonys had better audio pickup for phone calls, as it doesn't quite stack up to the 700s. What it does bring to the table is great overall package, specs to beat, and a good price to match. As for the comparisons between this or the Bose 700, you really can't go wrong with either, but it should end up being a design choice and whether or not call pickup quality is value high on your list. 5 |

I've been using the Bose Surround Speakers 700 for a little over a week now and I have to say that I love them. I've been finding myself watching more and more movies because of the added joy that the surround sound speakers have brought me. I haven't been able to get the speakers to play music through the surround speakers but I believe that's because of the audio channels not being utilized by the music itself. My current set up involves the Bose Soundbar 500 along with the Bose Bass Module. The sound quality from these two products alone was already impressive but by adding the surround speakers, I am completely over the moon with my home theater experience. I love hearing the subtle nuances in films like Wall-E where audio immersion plays such a big role. My wife also appreciated the movie watching experience from The Dark Knight as the bat mobile would rumble through Gotham. Bose quality is evident in not just the sound quality but as well as the construction of the speakers. The speakers are heavy and do not tip over which is a nice touch while at the same time occupy a small footprint around my couch. Setup was very simple using the Bose Music app. The app was able to detect the accessory speakers and quickly pair them to my current set up within minutes. For those who are looking to complete their home theater setup by adding a surround sound component, I recommend the Bose surround speakers 700. 5 |

I own a pair of Bose 700 and just bought these too. To me, these are just as good as the Bose in every way - sound quality, build quality, noise-cancellation - with literally 3 times the battery life, and at half the price. I can't recommend these enough. 5 |

This is exactly the cable I needed to allow me to use my Bose 700 NC headphones with my iPhone without draining my battery or needing an adapter. And the volume and play/pause buttons work perfectly so I still have the player control I wanted. 5 |

I've had all the Sony and Bose ANC headphones and still have the NC700's which I liked lot but these are just next level. I use headphones everyday to watch TV via Firestick on some TV's and via Apple TV in the master bedroom. I work from home so being able to connect to the TV and answer a call with the Bose NC700's was a nice feature but it wasn't perfect and most of the time the person on the call would complain I was breaking up probably due to Wi-Fi or some kind of interference. Additionally, while watching TV the NC700's audio would crack for a couple seconds and I'd miss words and have to skip back which was annoying. These hickups caused me to yern for a set of ANC's that just worked all the time everytime like my Airpod Pro's. Problem with the Pro's is the limited battery time and no volume adjustment so you can't use them with the Firestick. Which brings me to the Max's. These just work and when I'm watching TV and a call comes in on my iPhone I just answer it and switch to the APM's and it just works and works seemlessly. Couldnt be happier with the quality and the sound and the integration especially with all things Apple. If you have the money and use headphones for more than just music these are the ones to own! Note: My first pair B&H sent me ended up being defective after about 3 days of use. The right ear cup started to make this faint inconsistent fake wind noise in the background of whatever I was listening to with the ANC active. Turning off ANC made it go away and transparency mode as well. In any event I worked with B&H and they worked to overnight me a replacement pair and it's been bliss ever since. Pro-tip: GET THE APPLECARE+ with these! You just never know with them being so new what will happen. 5 |

Until a week ago I loved my Bose 700 headphones. My only complaint was the bass was a bit flat even after adjusting it in the app. I left them on a Delta flight and needed a new pair, so I figured I'd see what was out now. I was told the Sony 1000X5 would be a better solution... a week after owning them I was not impressed with them for conference calls or music. So I called my BandH rep to find out if there was in fact a better solution to the Bose. YES she recommended these baised on the actual sound specs... These are exactly what I was hoping for. The audio is so clean clear and bass hits just right with out sounding distorted. Calls completely sound like surround sound you hear everything people say on Conference calls. For this price point I'd put these on top... Oh another note look at the battery life. GET THESE!!!! 5 |
