Cam Computer Monitoring

So far been very happy with this power supply. I have the computer plugged into a power monitoring outlet and can confirm that it is indeed very good at drawing no more power than it needs to. Supply is also very quiet and runs not too hot.

I use an external monitor with my computer that has no built-in web cam. My web-cam can sit on top of the monitor screen, but the viewing angle isn't great. (I prefer not to expose my viewers to a sharply focused view of my bald pate.) So I used this device, together with the Square jellyfish ball head (BALLHDP76) to support the webcam on the desk beneath the monitor. As the attached image shows, it works well. If this device seems to be a solution looking for a problem, I seem to have found the right problem. You're welcome....

I think this cam is great. Even over zoom (the main reason to get the cam) my colleagues immediately noticed the difference from a 2017 laptop cam to this one of how clear and bright it looked. The sound quality is great too, but will need adjustment first. The cam just needs to be plugged into your computer and then it works but, at first there is a lot of feedback on the mic, so the solution is to use background sound cancellation with the setting set to aggressive it took the sound bounce or echo right out. The cam website suggested to move the cam away from the computer to lessen echo, that doesn't work, but the noise cancellation does. I setup the cam right before a meeting when it came and its definitely great and serves the purpose as a clear cam brightening up the background without any need of ring lights, etc.

This is perfect for my needs. Due to covid-19, many of my appointments have been switched to video appointments. Unable to get a computer cam with microphone due to high order volumes, this fills the need nicely.

My work computer has two USB ports.I use one for my mouse and one for my web cam. I had no place for jump drives or lighting for zoom. This works great and I like the fact that I can turn the ports off and on.

Have only used it about a week in my Dash Cam, but so far it is working perfectly.� Compatibility with Dash Cam works perfectly. Adapter has worked perfectly in the computer when transferring files. I would recommend this brand to anyone looking for a reliable card that is to be used in a camera or Dash Cam.
