Cam Working But Not Mic Logitech Camera

I bought this web cam because my earlier Logitech camera was good, but produced horrid video when there was insufficient lighting. This Brio cam has done very well in the same situation. You hardly notice the change from daylight to night under limited lighting conditions. I also liked the field options and zooming capability. Also - BH delivered device on time.

Bought for use as a on-cam mic. Works well.

Bought this trail cam and I love it. Does what it needs to do. But more importantly B and H sent me a new camera unlike the previous camera I bought from another website, the box was opened and instruction packet was crumpled up. Leaves me to believe that I was sent and opened item or a return item. Not happy! Won’t happen here, I am already purchasing a 2nd camera from B and H. B and H thanks for delivering on time again and again.

For the record I work for a major Canadian newspaper that supplies its staff with equipment and I paid for this with my own money because I'm pretty much done with shooting video with a DSLR setup. I started shooting video with a Canon G9 then a Panasonic handicap and finally a Canon 1D Mk IV before getting this video camera. You are going to love this camera. I'm not reviewing this cam against other cams and I'm not commenting on the image quality. Here are the high points, as seen from a still photographer who has to do more and more video, after having this camera in hand for just a few days.-It's small and lightweight yet not too small or light.-It has autofocus. It works very well.-Image stabilization is shockingly good.-It has a decent wide angle and long lens range. You don't have to switch lenses.-You can monitor your incoming audio.-The detachable handle has 2 XLR inputs. One for a short shotgun mic and the other for a wireless receiver, for example. (At a press conference, you could have a transmitter in a soundboard for the announcement at the podium and then switch to the shotgun mic on the cam for the scrum or if the soundboard craps out, you can switch to the shotgun mic.)There are lots of other goodies in the cam that will help make the job easier but the above are some of the highlights that caught my eye. The same goes for the XA 25, it has the HD-SDI port which, if you're not positive that you need it then you probably don't. That'll save you $500 by sticking with the XA 20.

I added the GPS receiver to my Thinkware dash cam. Camera recognized the receiver and is consistently working within a few seconds.

Makes working with a Z Cam a breeze, with so much customisable functionality. By assigning a camera function button to a wheel click, you can scroll through all your preset resolutions and frame rates, not to mention having aperture, eND, magnify, white balance etc at your finger tips. It's beautifully crafted too, I often get asked by local joiners who made it. Being wooden is also a major plus for all those shooting in freezing temperatures.

I bought this to upgrade the sound quality for my online piano lessons. I had been using just the mic on the Logitech C920 camera. The voice and music quality is excellent, much better than the camera mic.

For Zoom meetings I have a Logitech camera & mic clamped atop my large panel monitor, but room lighting does not flatter me. This little light panel gives the little front light supplement needed. extra clamp I had to buy supports it just fine.

I use this for zoom backgrounds. It's large enough to cover the field of view for my Logitech desk cam. The springy frame holds it open. I can just prop it against the wall, no stand needed, unless you use a standing desk.

This cam was bought to produce online webinars and initial use shows it to be excellent quality. The picture is notably sharper than a laptop in-built cam - much better quality image. And the integral mics )one each side of the lens) also produce decent sound quality, at least within what I'd class as normal range (distance) of use with a laptop. Sure, it's not studio quality, but this is a webcam after all!! The one issue I've faced with it is accessing the advanced settings in Windoze 10. Logitech's web site suggest downloading Logitech Gaming Software, but that provided something called Overwolf, which was no use whatsoever. Logitech's support people subsequently e-mailed me a link (which I have yet to install) that supposedly addresses this issue - http://www.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/cameras/Conference%20cam/LogiCamSettings1.1.87.0.exe. On my Mac, the advanced settings were readily available via a downloaded app - Logitech Camera Settings.app. - on this page - http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/webcam-c930e-business. the changes are digitally done, but effective nonetheless, and add great functionality in selecting what the cam picks up. You are also able to disable the autofocus in this app, and thus select the focal length you want the camera to work with. Might be useful if dealing with longer perspectives - ?? Overall, so far I've found this to be a great product.
