Bought this on deal of the day. Great for a everyday backpack in the city. I actually don't even use it as a camera bag but the removable camera protections works well from small cameras.

This backpack looks good, carries a lot of stuff for its size, is easy on the shoulders. A very good deal.

I use the BlackRapid Backpack Breathe Camera Strap with a Lowepro ProTactic Backpack. One side of the strap connects perfectly to the rings located on the front of the backpack's shoulder straps and the other side connects onto a loop on the bottom of the pack on the other side. The BlackRapid backpack strap allows me to have quick access to my camera. With the camera on the BlackRapid strap, I no longer need to bring my backpack to my side to remove and use my camera. I now use my backpack only to store and change lenses. My camera can now remain outside my backpack, located conveniently to my side at hip level. When I want to shoot, the camera slides smoothly up the camera strap to eye level. I like that the camera hangs upside-down when resting on the strap. It makes for an easy get to position when my camera is resting at my side. This strap is amazingly slick and fun to use. I have to admit that I find myself playing around with it, like I'm some sort of gunslinger, showing off how quick I can be on the draw. I appreciate the movable clips provided on the BlackRapid camera strap. The two clips are easily adjusted, allowing me to restrict the movement of the camera to stay in one place on the strap when I am planning not to shoot. All of the attachment parts seem well made and designed. I keep the bottom strap strapped to the bottom of my backpack and store the rest of the strap in a small pocket on my backpack when I am not using the strap. Then, all I have to do is remove the strap from the small backpack pocket and connect the free end to the opposite shoulder strap . . . and I'm ready to go! I wish the piece that that screws into the camera (Camera Socket Attachment) was designed so that the camera could sit flat when attached, and if the design of the socket attachment would permit a tripod or mono-pod to be screwed into it without having to unscrew it from the camera. I absolutely love the BlackRapid Backpack Breathe Camera Strap!

I purchased this backpack on sale in a deal zone offer. Man is it comfortable. I have loaded it up with a field recorder, batteries, microphones, tripod, and assorted accessories to a considerable weight and yet it floats on my back. Love the harness and adjustments; it keeps the pack tight and steady on you back. Looking forward to taking this on long hikes in the field.

Got this backpack as part of a BandH package deal. Didn't know what to expect but when I got it, my old bag ended up on @. This is named appropriately because the build is rugged and all of my gear feels very safe inside. Can't beat the sewed in rain fly either. Nice addition and resting place for my new 6D with various expensive lenses.

I did a great deal of research before buying this backpack, and 99% of it came back positive. I wasn't disappointed. It is everything I expected it to be and it really lives up to its reputation. The Think Tank Airport Essentiqls backpack is extremely well made and, as advertised, doesn't look like a backpack. It has enough room for the equipment I carry, and its padding and versatility is unmatched. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The perfect companion when your full-sized backpack is just too much to have to deal with. Able to hold a Nikon D800 with a 70-200 attached with room to spare for a couple of other shorter zoom and most everything needed INCLUDING room for a good sized flask of water (or whatever your drink of choice is) makes this bag an engineering miracle.
