At first glance it can be easy to dismiss the Pocket Operator KO as a “toy”. Watching YouTube videos online it appears that the sky is the limit. Like many musical instruments you get out of it what you put in. I find the limited tool set to be liberating. Sampling and pattern making is a breeze and you can turn every day sounds into compelling loops. In the hands of someone who is invested you could create a whole beat or instrumental piece. It is not going to replace a Roland SP 404 or Akai, but given the size of the item it punches well above it’s weight. (Pun slightly intended). My main complaint that exporting any loops or patterns is a pain and requires numerous other tools. However, if you want to be able to play with music and loop making on the go it is an absolute charm. The build quality of the board is considerably more sturdy than looking at any pictures would lead you to believe, but I think a case of some type is needed if you intend to have this thing for a duration. Overall, if you want something that can make music without breaking the bank the KO Pocket Operator is really in a class by itself. I recommend this as the first PO anyone should get. Load up a few YouTube videos follow along how to use it then just go around the house collecting sounds, you’ll have a blast. 5 |

I got this Teenage Engineering PO35 Speak Vocal Synth after seeing several demos and reviews on YouTube and was quite impressed. (I also bought the PO33 KO at the same time for the same reason) Now that I've had it 2 weeks I am amazed at what it can do as I am with the KO. This is another addictive little machine. It is a great addition to my entire Synthesizer setup which consists of a Digitone, Moog Matriarch, Hydrasynth, 2 PolyChained Skulpt SE's and Behringer Model D, Neutron, K2 and Pro1. As well as my Gretsch Drum Kit, and Fender Tele and Jazz Bass which I have been sampling sounds from. I have been wanting to add a Synth Sampler but just didn't want something that would take up a lot of space or be too costly especially since I feel Samplers by their very nature are a bit of a novelty and need to be used sparingly. There is quite a bit of sampling power in it and it is quite fun to create new and unique samples. The built in Microphone is surprisingly good quality. 120 seconds of Sample Memory is quite adequate. The 8 Effects are very useful. The Drum Machine Presets are very good quality and the ability to get replaceable drum sounds with Microtonic is a great feature. I do recommend getting a case for it not only to protect it but also a case makes it much nicer to work with as it gives it a better form factor in your hands or on your Workstation. I chose to get a Rev5 case from Dich Studios. The offer them in Color Schemes that match the PO's. and they work with or without the Hangtag Lastly you really can't beat the price for this much technology in a nice small package. 5 |

As Hong Kong philosopher Yuk Hui described process of remembering: .. reconstruction where the past and the future is brought into the present. Not much choice here. SX70 only takes this film without the ND filter. Will go broke but will keep the memories! 5 |

I've had the Canon release and a couple from Hong Kong, and they all popped out of the port on the camera, no matter how hard I pushed them in. This one has a wide collar that holds it tight, and I even had to tug it to get it out! It's because unlike all the others which have very narrow collars (see red arrow below), the Vello has one that's about 1/4 wide (see blue arrow below). I bought a couple to have a backup on travel shoots. 5 |

I use it together with my profoto lamphead. The light is very soft with a nice fading. The softbox is very light and easy to use. I rent it in Hong Kong and I just loved it. I bought two of them and I'm very happy. 5 |

I was looking for a backup audio recorder for corporate video and content shoots for my business in Hong Kong. The Zoom H5 is the perfect device to fit my need. Easily mountable onto my cage rig for my Blackmagic Pocket 6K Cinema Camera. B&H Photo had the most competitive price and it was extremely easy for me to compare the recorder against other options they had available. I was extremely pleased with the experience from the start of my search for an audio recorder on the B&H site through to final delivery. 5 |

Simply brilliant, I could not find a filter this big in Hong Kong and I tried every store. I was not going to take out my new and very expensive telephoto without it. The quality is great, I have tried other filters before, but this is superb, I changed about 7 lens to use this filter and now I know why people use this brand. The feel of the quality is surprising when you take off the old Hoya to put this B+W filter on, its about double the weight in glass. 5 |

I was torn between this lens and the Sigma Art 24-70 2.8 for a week in Hong Kong. I own a Sigma Art 135 and am happy with it. I went with the Tamron due to poor reviews of the Sigma in re sharpness. The Tamron is a heavy lens which when mated to my D750 made for a big chunk of camera to lug around for a week. Add in the Tamron 70-200 2.8 and another Nikon body and the backpack was pretty heavy. That said, Im quite happy with the performance of the lens. Auto focus seemed quite snappy and the results were quite sharp. It should be noted that Im not a pro and most of my tourist shots were hand held. Tripod mounted shots of the Hong Kong skyline were quite sharp in my estimation. Overall, very satisfied. 5 |
