Camera Backpacks With Suspension

Honestly this is a really expensive camera bag. I have use at least 5-6 different backpacks and this is the best one so far!

Best suspension for the money.

These work so much better than the traditional cross suspension I was using.

I bought this Minimax for my FS5M2 after looking at all the alternatives. The only camera suspension system that consistently gets great reviews is the Easyrig. It costs a bit more, yes, but the quality of this piece of gear is immediately evident upon opening the package. It’s ridiculously simple to use and makes it possible to carry a fairly heavy rig all day long. Getting different shot angles is super easy once you’ve got the counterbalance properly set. The best payoff is not having back pain after a long shoot. I can not recommend this enough!

Just getting into DSLR videography and boy am I glad I got this. The suspension is excellent there is no sound of my hands fumbliing around on the camera. Much better than 6D mic for indoors and out. I did not see much difference with higain switch, even outdoors with plane flying overhead - maybe that wasn't the correct test situation. Inside battery compartment is even a PAD switch to reduce sensitivity when around very loud sources. Plugged into my handheld digital recorder it showed itself even better than on the camera. I have plans now to record sound files separately and mix with video later, should be especially good for nature.

Unit is well built with quality material and details. The tension of rotating joint can be adjusted by Phillip screw driver. I used this to mount Rode Stereo Videomic X on top of Z6. Although condenser units in Rode SVMX have their mini Rycote mounts, the handling noise of camera can sometimes be heard if mount the SVMX directly on top of camera. This Rycote suspension effectively introduces additional isolation and further eliminate the handling noise. I insert the copper 3/8 hot shoe adapter that came with the kit into SVMX hot shoe mount's 3/8 female thread, and then mount the assembly on top of the Rycote suspension using 1/4 female thread in hot shoe mount. I don't use the angle piece and instead i use a hot shoe adapter that has long 1/4 male thread to connect Rycote suspension to the camera. It is a bit pricey but the quality of the unit make up for the cost.

I just love these little backpacks for my batteries!!!!! They are perfect and I can always find my batteries rather than trying to find them in my camera bag.

Makes carrying PD backpacks that much better, even with 40 pounds of camera gear

Used to having military backpacks with additional camera set up in it, I was always quite short on space with my daily backpack. Finally decided to try and find a real camera backpack, I had a look at a lot of brands, and a lot of YouTube reviews...Of all the backpacks I’ve checked, the Wandrd Prvke Lite caught my eye... That thing has style !!Once received, I had high expectations with all the great reviews I saw. One thing is sure, after a week of every day use, I have absolutely no regret ! My E-M1 Mark III with my 45mm lens fits perfectly, and I can easily add an additional 12-40mm as well as a 40-150mm and a battery grip ! All of it perfectly set !The easy access on the side, the back access helping to change lenses, the small pocket on the top... everything is just perfect the way it is ! (Not even speaking of all the great features... ). I personally went for the black version and added the orange straps... and I absolutely love it !!If you’re still hesitating, stop. It's the bomb!! I have camera shoulder bags, sling bags, backpacks....none come close to this one. It will hold my Nikon D810 with nikkor 200-500mm f5.6 attached plus two other lenses and D750 body plus 15 laptop and a few accessories, and, of course, IT ROLLS.The best part is I live in a small city where airline service is only provided by CRJs and ERJs. This fully packed bag will fit in the overhead compartment of the small ERJ145! You could conceivably put it under the seat ahead but it's a bit long to be considered 'fully under' it.Like all Think Tank bags, this one is built to last.I couldn't be happier with it.
