Using it on my canon 50mm and it does the trick.

Finally I can use my old FD 28mm, 50mm and 70-210mm lenses from my old film days, on my new EOS SL1 Canon camera....what a great service this is to be able to place the Canon FD Lens to Canon EOS Camera adapter by Vello on my camera. Now I can use my perfectly good lenses anytime I choose....highly recommend this adapter to anyone having old lenses and wanting to use them all over again....very satisfied customer here!

I had previously owned a Canon 50mm 1.2 and didn't like the lens at all. I never used it. I read so many great things about the RF 50mm 1.2 and was skeptical...until I put the lens on my camera. WOW!!! I have many great lenses and I bet this 50mm never lens my camera!

I bought this Canon 50mm at 50% off due to a special offer by Canon through B&H. It was a can't pass up opportunity! I Paid $100 for a new lens that just about everyone who uses it loves and every camera bag needs! After receiving it, I took it outside to check it out on my R10 and it fully met my expectations! With the crop sensor essentially making my 50mm lens actually an 85mm lens, I was amazed by both the sharpness and the background blur (bokeh) it produced. I will be soon using it more for outdoor shooting now that sun is shining in Southern California! But this RF 50mm lens was one that I knew I MUST HAVE with my kit when I purchased my R10 camera a couple of months ago. So far, it's doing everything and more than I hoped for!

I bought an adapter(FD to EF) for my old FD 50mm 1.4 lens from my Canon A-1 film camera and now use it a lot with my 5D,30D & 60D bodies and I also bought a Tiffen 52mm UV Protector Filter for it. The filter is an excellent investment to prolong my old lens.
