This board is killer. I prefer it to the Z790 , a virtually identical board to the 690 but with a more IO options. Paired with the components listed below, I can do anything from Video editing to gaming , streaming and IT Administration. I have heard that Asus can be difficult when it comes to RMA and that they are working on improving thier work flows in that area and well, I have not had to test the validity of those claims since I have never had an Asus product fail on me in more than a 2 decades of Asus being my products of choice. I now have three of these that I use for connecting devices with my Asus VivoTab Smart PC. One I keep in my camera bag for a SD Card Reader and Sync cord to import photos. Another I keep on a USB hub attached to keyboard & mouse for when I want to use the VivoTab in a desktop setup. The third I keep in the tablet bag for any other time I need to make a Type A USB connection. A must have item!

This is my first ASUS router. I wish I had started with it! I had always used TP-Link. I started with a refurbished TP-Link-AX11000 (2.4GHz dropped out at random). Returned that and bought a NEW TP-Link AX10000. Experienced the same exact problem. Long story. The ASUS GT-AX11000 will not disappoint. I've had it for 6 weeks without a single issue. Super easy to setup. Love the ability to add custom pictures for the clients. Top notch equipment. My computer's MB is an ASUS, so no big surprise. Like I said...I wish I had started with it! My network has wired computers, wired TV\firesticks, wireless smart switches, and wireless camera. My camera frame rate is maxed out now without loss of quality. Thank You ASUS!
