Camera For Drone With Zoom

Small but good, enough for my camera and drone.

Tried it with my ipad, and Mavic Zoom drone, and it really makes flying experience in the sun great! You can really see all the details without trying to find a shadow so you can really see what your drone is filming... great material!

I had owned and flown a DJI Mavic 2 Pro for several years and wanted to change things up a bit with a smaller and updated software to expand some capabilities. First off, the drone seemed fragile because of the lightweight aspect. It has proven to be a rugged little monster. The Mini 4 Pro has the orbiting and other programming features that I enjoyed with the Mavic 2 Pro, but in addition, it has a zoom feature that was limited to the Mavic 2 Zoom. The unit became a 2-in-1 outfit. I am impressed because I had originally struggled to decide between the two modes of zoom or motion filming. This is the first drone that I have operated on its own Remote Controller (RC 2). I felt over the last few years that having the phone as the viewing instrument and controller limited my ability to communicate with the subject or oncoming pieces of a scene to help direct the full starts and stops of the blocking pieces of the story. I love the RC2 and it is clear and vivid in sunny and low-light situations. Lastly, I did not spend the money initially on the Fly More pack on my DJI Mavic 2 Pro, and I have always regretted that. I am pleased with everything in the purchase and I am learning new features about the new drone and its capabilities for my storytelling and productions. I am very pleased with this new camera and I look forward to capturing the special moments with it for years.

I wasn't too thrilled with the release of the original Mavic 3. I read many reviews that suggested the 1/2 zoom lens was just a costly fun adder and not having the need for a drone with a zoom lens I decided to wait. I'm so glad I did, this is a spectacular drone with all the features of the original Mavic 3 without the zoom lens without the extra cost of the zoom feature I wouldn't use.

The Mavic 3 Pro is an incredible drone. The zoom lens make this so much more useful than a Mavic with just a wide angle. I wish a better charger was included with this set though.

I started with what at the time was a great midsize drone the DJI Air 2S. I followed that purchase up with a Mavic 3. I had the bug. Both for flying and photography. Tended to use the Mavic 3 more because of the zoom capabilities as I fly a distance off from a beaver pond to photograph the various wildlife. Always thought it would be nice to have a smaller lighter drone with a zoom to carry into the woods. Well DJI made it. This drone with its obstacle avoidance and great 3X zoom capabilities is everything I hoped for. Will have to remember to take the Air 2S out for its turn

Still want a longer lens for my Inspire2 drone. Even a longer zoom up to a 100mm would be nice Olympus! But very clear in the edges. Nice job! I sure would like to see the Z30x fir the Inspire2. Us DJI LISTENING?

What doesn't this drone do well? Both zooms are special. With the 166mm zoom lens even more so in my opinion. I even captured fireworks with a lighthouse together in a night shot with that 166mm zoom that came out absolutely stunning.

I am using it on an FPV drone, perfect, compact camera, great for flying.

This thing packs a punch for how small it is. Haven't used it with my drone yet, but it certainly functions well on a camera as well.
