Excellent CLS control for off camera flash. Used on a Nikon D3 and D700 for off camera flash control. 5 |

It is important to know that to use this lens on a Nikon D700 you must go to the Setup Menu, then to Non-CPU lens data and enter a few lens parameters. This is very quick and easy to do. Despite being a manual focus lens, sharp focus is a cinch. Focusing is also dead silent with exquisitely smooth tactile feedback because of its high quality construction. Having taken hundreds of photos with this lens, I can say that my pictures are sharp and clear with beautiful color. My long exposure night shots are absolutely gorgeous. The wide field of view is exactly what I wanted for outdoor shots, and even for many indoor shots. However, one must be careful to try to keep the camera oriented vertically to avoid keystoning. Compared to my Nikkor 70-200 VRII, this lens is very small and very lightweight. Though it is not my main lens (I still prefer my AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4D for most work), it is a joy to own and use. (Having said that, I must warn that it requires considerable care and a delicate touch to mount it on the camera, because the lens doesn't have a white mounting alignment dot. Please be very careful when attaching this lens to your camera.) I recommend it highly, with no reservations at all. (B&H required disclosure: I purchased this lens with my own personal funds about 4 months ago. I don't regret paying one penny. I have received no compensation for writing this review.) 5 |

I own the D700 from Nikon. I generally use a larger Pelican case but wanted one for just the camera and lens. I throw the 50mm 1.8 lens on it for this case. But just for kicks, I tried my 24-70mm 2.8 Nikon lens and it fit with the lens hood reversed. That was a pleasant surprise. Love the pelican cases. This will go on many canyons with me, I am certain. I only put heavy on the cons because I hike a lot with this... and 3 extra pounds is felt, but appreciated for my gears sake. 5 |

I use this body cap interchangeably on both my D700 and an old FM2 film camera. Got to love Nikon's F-mount. 5 |

I bought this for my mom to use with her Nikon D700 camera. The camera is a heavy beast, and she can't carry it for very long, the neck strap tires her out real quick. This is the perfect accessory. It's well made, properly adjustable, quality material, and it fulfils the function it was bought for perfectly. I'm happy with the buy, and my mom's ecstatic! 5 |

I shoot with the Nikon D700 and no plans on a camera upgrade this year. But to upgrade to a 120 mbs from 30 makes a lot of sense. The Sandisk Extreme is a wonderful card and I just bought 3-16gb cards and I am going to add at least one more. Originally Nikon did not recommend a card larger than 8gb but with the A. & B. 1.02 firmware update you can use 64gb now...it is on the Nikon USA site. This card works great is very fast and it is affordable. 5 |

This works really well with my D700. I can put the mirror up and then the camera does not move. I am a little upset with Nikon for making such an expensive remote, but the motion trigger almost makes up for the price. 5 |

I use this cable to activate the shutter on my Nikon D700. The cable connects between the camera and a PocketWizard X. I can close the shutter via of another PocketWizard X or my MiniTT. It will focus the camera but not quickly like the camera normally focuses. My suggestion, do focus before or anticipate burning up a few frames til it's in focus. I don't do a lot of remote, but I can if I want to now. 5 |

I am using it with a Nikon D700. Previously had a Tamron with the same zoom range....NO COMPARISON! It is very sharp and the VR gives me at least 3 stops. The only lens I take on trips. Expensive, yes but worth every penny. 5 |
