We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures. 5 |

I purchased two with two additional mounting plates we use up to four cameras in the field for weather. Setup is seconds. One of the best features is it folds up to 16 you can pack in overnight bag for carry on plane. I would recommend this for people that walk on trails, outdoor great for rapid setup. 5 |
