Fits my Sony A7RII

Very comfortable on my Sony A7RII

I use this on the A9 and the A7rII. On the A7RII the focus hunts alittle and is not as fast as when mounted on the A9. But that is the camera bodies and not the lens. I have been using the Canon 400mm 5.6 on both of these bodies. The Sony lens, at 400mm, is as sharp and possibly sharper then the Canon lens and the Canon is one hell of a sharp lens. This is a fine lens and can be used effectively on either of these Sony bodies.

Purchased to use with the Sony A7RII using the Sigma MC-11 adapter. Very happy to report, in terms of resolution and IQ, this lens is as good, perhaps better than my Batis 25 and 85mm lens. The adapter/camera has an issue with the Canon lens IS system by overcompensating stabilization and hopefully will be corrected with a firmware update. For now I find selecting the Sony SteadyShot menu manually to 8mm (less aggressive stabilization?) helps to correct the overcompensation and does improve handheld shots at slow shutter speeds with IS turned on. Reportedly the Metabones adapter does not overcompensate and allows individual selection of lens stabilization vs in camera stabilization. Very happy with this purchase!

This is a great addition to my Sony a7rii camera. This lens is small and very light and super sharp. Glad I bought it.

My camera is an A7Rii and my flash is a Minolta HSS 32*** I use this extension with a Sony shoe converter (Multi Shoe to Minolta/Sony Dslr shoe) and it functions perfectly. The Vellos cord has a switch to secure the cord multi shoe tip on the camera and a tightening screw to secure flash end of the cord to the shoe adapter. TTL for the flash works great and I am able to mount the flash on a small bracket in better position to avoid red eye. I've only had it for a few weeks but with care it should last me a while.

I learned about this product while researching camera bags for my Sony A7rii. I do a lot of traveling for work, and having something this small and light is perfect for my jet-setting ways. Its great for nature photography and, truthfully, I use it for the static shot on my green screen and corporate video interviews. The size and weight save me from having to bring my large video tripods on the plane. At first, i thought this was a little pricey, but in the end, i think its totally worth it!

I purchased this lens to use with my new Sony a6300 camera but I also own a Sony a7rII and recently had it on a hiking trip with the camera. It was a great and light lens that produced excellent images using the a7rII camera.

I have not used it yet in rain, but I tried it on my Sony A7rII camera with an 85mm lens, and it seemed just right. Good fit, and it should work also with longer lens. Good design and good value.

Using it with the TetherBoost cable and active extension on a Sony a7Rii. Camera failed to stay connected with the cable and extension, but the added Core Controller solved that, works exactly as advertised, and it's been stable through 2 all-day tethered sessions so far. I feel like, for the money, this should be built in to the Active Extension cable and unnecessary... that said, the setup works great.
