We purchased this lens alongside the Sony Alpha a7S III to start our new camera build. We used this lens on a couple of previous video shoots before purchasing and were impressed by the quality of image that we were able to capture, and having one in-house is even better. The combination with the UV filter was a free bonus for us during a sale, but the filter is good quality and it would have been on my list to purchase anyways, so I would recommend it as well. 5 |

I recently got the the Sony alpha a7 III and I’ve only had it for a little over a week and I really enjoy it so far! I’m still learning about everything it can do. My hands are a little too big for the body of the Sony Alpha 7 III R, with the vertical grip attached the camera is complete: the additional battery doubles the shots, vertical shooting is better too and the distribution of weight between the lens and body is much better.
