Camera Stabilizer Before And After

Before, it was impossible to hold the camera one handed, which is ridiculous for a camera this small. After, easy peasy.

I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved.

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable.

After a few weeks, I'm still in the process of learning how to use this stabilizer. I think balancing it to be 100% stable is the most difficult part. After that, you just need to hone your gliding technique. I've come a long way since I first received this, and though my footage isn't perfect, I can tell that it looks really good. But really good is not the reason a person purchases this device. I personally want perfect, cinema-quality stabilization for narrative videography, and I'm sure with a few weeks of practice I'll be able to get that. Note: this stabilizer, with camera, will probably end up weighing between 8-15 lbs., which doesn't sound too heavy. But just try to spend more than 10 minutes operating this, and you'll feel it in your arm/shoulder.

This is a very good camera stabilizer product but needs a support like the Eroz X1.

Before calibrating my monitor printing was just not working. After calibrating the monitor it was much better but still wasn't quite right. Calibrating the paper for your printer which is what this kit allows you to do is really the best. I know some companies will profile your printer on their paper but with this you can do it yourself and not have to wait for the profile to come back ... this takes very little time, is very easy to use and works brilliantly!
