I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved. 5 |

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable. 5 |

I love the HD2000. It's a great stabilizer and much cheaper in price comparing to the real deal, steadicam merlin. Everything is adjustable and once you fine tune all of the little adjustment knobs, you'll be ready to fly in no time. It does takes some practice to operate the equipment efficiently so make sure you do a few test runs before using it on your project. I use this item with my Nikon D90 and tokina 11-16 mounted on a Manfrotto 577 quick release. I think that the only problem is mounting the 577 quick release in a way where you are still able to access the knob without hitting the stage or cheese plate (the top part of the glidecam where the camera sits)$ 5 |
