This is a very good value for the money. Well made and very rugged. A minor issue is that it does not come with any assembly instructions or camera balancing instructions. I recommend looking at some on-line videos on balancing stabilizers. For a first time user of stabilizers the balancing process is not intuitive. Once properly balanced for a specific camera it works very well. 5 |

Good mount. However will not work on stabilizers such as the flycam. The bottom of plate is not flushed with the flycam plate..Got this because I wanted to have the same mount as my tripod and slider....for stabilizers youll need the bigger plates. 5 |

I really struggled with the decision to purchase the X-10. After my first shoot with it, I had no doubts it was the right decision. It is much less expensive than other competing stabilizers, it is very well built, not flimsy in any way. I like how adjustable it is and that I can use it with or without a monitor in the base, something not found on more expensive choices. It took me a few hours to get comfortable using it, and with just that little amount of practice I was able to produce extremely professional looking video for my client. 5 |

I've used several stabilizers. Glidecam, Ronin M. They all pretty much kill your arms. Since this is lighter than the Ronin M, and motorized (unline the glidecam), it is easier to use, and easier to re-position quickly, if you didn't get the shot you wanted. I'm looking forward to using this for a long time and as long as it continues to work, I don't anticipate ever needing to buy another stabilizer. 5 |

it's very good but I wish it was lighter but I guess all Stabilizers are the same so this one is the best option and it is made in USA so typically it's better that Chinese Stabilizers. the setup was much easier than my other Stabilizers which is from china. I'm happy I could buy it when it was on deal page at a good price. Thanks to B&H 5 |

I have a number of various iPhone holders for tripods and handheld stabilizers. This one takes the cake! I have 3 MeFoto tripods that I use so this is an ideal pairing. It allows for iPhone rotation without using special adapters which is very handy. the nice part is that it fits perfectly into the base on the tripod without having to use the normally removable plate. However, I have an adapter to rotate the camera through 360 degrees which I attach this unit to and use the removable plate in between. Very happy with my purchases and would highly recommend this adapter. 5 |

So glad I went with the Redking over the more expensive stabilizers. This thing works really well, balances really quickly and overall has been a blast to work with. Tracking shots are super smooth! 5 |

I've done an extensive amount of research on dslr stabilizers and the Glidecam always rated the best at this price range. There are so many options and most are half the price but be cautious! I won't reveal the brand but I spent $ on one a few months back and the quality was horrible! I should've went with my initial choice which was the Glidecam but instead, I wanted to save $. As a result, i wasted $ and got an inferior product that I have no use for. Although I have not used the Glidecam yet, there is a significant difference in quality between the two products and the extra $$ I forked over was well woth it!If you are debating between the Glidecam and any other system, look no further. Do yourself a favor and choose the glidecam. 5 |

Having used several hand-held stabilizers, from the original PilotflyFunnyGO 3-Axis Handheld Stabilizers to Ronin-M, this is certainly the most solidly-built stabilizer I've seen, and able to handle serious loads! It's ability to carry heavy loads, design allowing access to the LCD panels on the back of most cameras, its seamless operation, and a fast balancing time makes this a stabilizer a serious heavy-weight pro contender. I am using it with a GH5. They are soon to release their tiny Nucleus-N ("n" for nano) wireless focus puller — a brilliant and super-impact, lightweight focus puller — for this and other stabilizers. A brilliant system, and one costing only 4oo.oo (wireless range 150') this combo will prove to be unbeatable! The G2X also comes in a small but rugged hard carrying case, and can be used with many non-proprietary rosette-based components, making this a complete stater setup, and a versatile and inexpensive solution. DJI's new Ronin S is probably going to prove to have a few more bells and whistles, but it will also likely cost 3 times as much to own and operate, once you've bought into their wireless focusing solution and proprietary batteries: be warned! And I LOVE DJI's products, but... I can highly recommend this for anyone's pro gear collection. Just be careful when you flip this for underslung mode. It only works in one direction, but this is an acceptable trade-off for access to the camera's LCD. DJI has already copied this feature, but I doubt that any other single handed brushless 3-axis stabilizer would have stronger (and QUIETER!) motors than the G2X? 3 Thumbs up! 5 |
