Camera Triangle Rule

We have two other Sunwayfoto L Brackets & bought a third because by adding OpTec straps to the left side of the camera at the triangle ring and to the bottom right side of the L bracket it hangs with the grip as the first place you reach with your hand. It saves seconds when it's important.

I bought these because I didn’t want metal hangers on my Canon R5. Those metal triangle hangers do nothing but beat up the camera. Nylon and plastic was the answer. I often disconnect my neck straps and also use hangers on my back pack. These hook into small carabiner without an issue.

Not the easiest to get them on the camera (there's probably a hack I don't know about) but now that they're on they aren't going anywhere. I used these for my Fujifilm x100f and I don't think the point sides of the triangle fit through the camera ring, so the wide side can't be flush on a strap.

It does what it's supposed to do and is relatively easy to install. I have a Nikon Z6 and the camera strap mount (little metal triangle on the side of the camera) has a black plastic support that needs to be removed before you can thread the clutch loop through and then it's a tight squeeze. Otherwise, it works. Mostly for situations where I'm carrying my camera in-hand for a while, like street or vacation photography. Not as useful while hiking - just gets in the way.

With these filters I can comply with the 180 rule...I'm happy.

I know there are after market batteries for my camera that are cheaper, but I've had bad luck with them. As a rule, I always stick with the camera manufacturer's batteries for reliability.

My new rule is that I don’t even look at reviews without an image attached. One attached snapshot right out camera, one over processed with blown highlights. (Xt1) With that said... Really an impressive lens. Small, light, fun focal length, tack sharp, instant af. Weather sealing is important to me living in the tropics. build quality is great. Can’t say how much of the optical performance is due to software correction but don’t really care. no regrets.

I teach martial arts and with the stay home rule, we are teaching via Zoom. I needed to find a better solution than my laptop camera and saw the Zoom camera. I had no idea what I was buying, but when I started using it, it was awesome. Easy to use, the microphone works great, as I move around my home dojo, my students can easily hear my instruction. Picture is super clear and I can't wait to use it's additional features when we get out of this. I highly recommend this camera and have already pushed one of the employees to purchase one for his home dojo and private lessons.

With this camera plate I will soon rule the world! Needless to say, I thought it was a mere camera plate, but when I rubbed it three times before mounting it on my camera--well it was like magic--every shot was perfectly composed, my light felt magic-hourish. Seriously, it works as expected. High quality in a world of crap.

One rule of thumb that was drilled into me. Don't try to cheap out on power for your camera. Original batteries should really be the only consideration unless you're absolutely stuck with no other option - the firmware and electronics in the camera will reward you with optimum operation and you'll also have a better warranty to rely on in case the unexpected happens.
