I use this for a remote camera triggered via PocketWizard for weddings. 5 |

I bought this for remote triggering for wildlife photography. I have borrowed Pocket Wizards in the past for this, but didn't relish the large expense to aquire my own set of Pocket Wizards, especially since I don't make use of their flash triggering. The Free Wave Plus showed up so I ran it through tests to learn it's capabilities before going in the field. I set my camera up, walked away from it and triggered it every ten paces. My pace is roughly 3 feet long and I got to 150 paces before it stopped triggering. This is beyond the advertised 100m range. This test was along clear range of sight, though a truck blocked the view at 70 yards and it still triggered. I also placed the camera inside a shed with an open door 30 yards from a house. No problem triggering the unit from inside the house with the door closed. Then I walked around to the other side of the house with the house between me and the camera and successfully triggered from 50 yards. I walked across the street and again with the house blocking the view triggered from 70 yards. The only cons I see with this are the switch button appears flimsy and when in bulb mode to trigger multi-shot bursts the camera will keep firing until you hit the switch a second time (as opposed to just holding the switch down until the burst is done like with a pocket wizard). I see potential for not ending a burst when desired, filling your card, etc. The remote led will flash when you push the button, but this just tells you you pushed the button, not whether the receiver got the signal. To be sure your burst has stopped you will need to have visual confirmation of the light on the receiver end - binos anyone? Altogether this seems a great device for the price. Way less expensive than Nikon or Pocket Wizard alternatives. 5 |

I tried a clone of this remote, and it only triggered the shutter release on my camera maybe 1 out of 5 times. The Nikon remote works 100% of the time. I'm going to try not to lose this one. 5 |

There was a small branch in front of the camera, so it kept triggering it with every breeze. I readjusted the settings, and it only triggered when it’s all people or vehicles. I’m glad I made a good choice. 5 |

Have a slave-triggered Sunpak 422D mounted on it and attached to a tripod for off-camera flash effects. It holds the flash foot very securely even when tilted. 5 |

I purchased these to shoot Architectural Images with an off camera flash. They have been helpful with using a handheld flash triggered from my camera on a distant tripod. So far I've used them with a range of 10-70 feet and they worked just fine. For around $50 I'd say they are definitely worth it. 5 |

Use the TT600 for off camera flash in Bowen’s mount for an umbrella softbox. It’s triggered with a Vello Freewave Flash Trigger - works perfectly. Great value. 5 |

I have had no issues with this card in my Nikon Z8. It does get a little warm on occasion, but only once triggered the camera's Hot Card alert and that was after shooting a fair bit of video. I think it is good value and reliable. And B&H was price-competitive and shipped super-fast, which is typical for them in my experience. 5 |
