We are taking the audio mix from an internet radio show, and feeding it to a camera for a Video webcast. USB plugin for the computer, and simply choose devise for sound out. Bingo! Works like a champ.

I use this for streaming on the internet. My video control booth is 20 feet from my HD camera, so this works perfectly

I had three reasons for purchasing this item: (1) Lots of storage to cover 3-4 cameras for 7-14 days (2) Reliability - WD products have been very reliable for me over the last 5 years (3) This type was recommended by the manufacturer. Minimal challenge installing it with 4 little screws. Running flawlessly for 8 days. Recommended

I installed this in my Unifi Dream Machine Pro to record video from surveillance cameras and I does the job, I have always had good luck with Segate enterprise disks.
