Cameras With Weather Sealing And Stabilization

I’ve owned an X100T and an X100F before this one. Both were great cameras but I really think weather sealing, the flipping screen and button simplification elevate this camera to a higher level. It’s a joy to use in every way now. 5 |

There are a lot of small, capable cameras but as far as I'm concerned the GR series is the only one that is truly able to be carried always and in every situation... even in a suit coat pocket. The best camera is the one you have with you and this one (and/or the regular III) will do a better job than a cell phone. Using the 3rd party GR Viewer app on iOS you can easily get the DNG files into mobile lightroom etc. My only wish for the future of the GR series is to work on the weather sealing as this one will not tolerate a lot of rain or dust. The Fuji X100v is better in that regard, especially with a filter installed to complete the weather sealing, but then IBIS and true pocketability are lost as it is significantly larger. 5 |

Expensive but does a good job. Part of camera’s weather sealing. 5 |

...and it works... remotely. Nice piece, very convenient. The weather sealing is, as with all Pentax gear, a plus. Worth the money. 5 |

This lens is a beast, it has incredible range, the colors are vibrant, and sharpness is super! The weather sealing is also a big plus so I don't have to worry. Sure its a bit heavy but I can still one hand hold this up for a short while (and I am not the strongest gal). Aiming is not as easy as with the lighter lenses but I am still getting used to it as well as learning how this lens focuses vs the 16-80 I use almost daily. Manual focus works great as well. No complaints here and definitely happy with the purchase! 5 |

A great compliment to the K-1 and impressive design to boot. Weather sealing and ingenious storage for the electrical contacts cap from the grip and K-1 body round out a great feeling grip with controls where I would expect them to be. 5 |

Great tripod, love the height, sturdiness and weather sealing. Ball head is sturdy Once you lock it it holds position. Overall weight and min size is good for travel photography. 5 |

It has what I was missing in my beloved Pen F, weather sealing and live ND. It is a thing of beauty. Light as a feather without lenses but so capable that I sold my Sony full frame system, which it was great for image quality, but not cool looking, heavy and bulky. For $1,000, you cannot beat this. The G9, which I also own is a big camera, not so great for traveling, therefore the OM-5 will be in my travel bag way more often than the G9. 5 |

Long time photographer and retired pro. Have the X100f and bought this for some key updates like weather sealing, bigger viewfinder (better diopter), better lens and the tilt screen. The lens sharpness improvement is immediately noticeable, especially at shorter focus distances. The viewfinder and tilt screen make a nice difference in usability. The weather sealing is key to being out and about without a case, the way this camera is meant to be. The reviewers will tell you about the overheating and scratchy manual focus ring. Yes, the camera gets warm, but I never really press a camera like this for continuous hard shooting or video... it's not what it's meant for in the first place. The focus ring is a little scratchy, but works fine.... and honestly, I hardly ever manual focus anyway, so after playing with it to notice, it will go on forgotten. If you don't need weather sealing, tilt screen and/or don't care about closer focusing distances, the X100f might be fine. Otherwise, this camera is really a beautiful next step in the X100 evolution. 5 |

The zoom range and weather-sealing make it a good all around lens. Focusing is fast and quiet. Image quality is good for a super zoom. 5 |
