After owning a J***** 500 for a few months, I wanted something a bit more powerful that could serve as an emergency backup power source considering the outages from fires these last few years in Northern California. I stumbled upon the EcoFlow Delta Pro in a Facebook ad by chance and jumped at the opportunity of getting a battery with better battery chemistry (LFP) which should last a lot longer than my other NCM based battery. I was beyond thrilled when I received and tested my new Delta Pro. It has so many cool automated features like having it stop/start charging at certain threshold, connecting to my Delta Pro via wifi, and has a clean, intuitive interface that lets me know what’s going on without the need to look at the manual. I’ve had this battery since January and I’ve loved it so much I’ve ordered another one just last week. It’s heavy (100 lbs) but it’s still portable and useful enough for me to take on camping trips this summer (along with the EcoFlow Wave) for a more luxurious camping experience. I’ve bought a couple of extra batteries for the Delta Pro as well and I should be better prepared for the next power outage. If you’re looking for the best portable emergency backup battery, you’ve found it.

I am not new to the world of sound and video. I purchased this mic as a backup mic. It has moved to first place, I am purchasing a second one maybe the NTG-2 (maybe not-do I need battery power) I am using it in a Panasonic Ag-Af100 The sound I am getting with this mic is beating out sound sent to me from professional sound boards, In both tight room settings and video taping bands in a small to medium stage area. It gives me dual channels, which I can dial up as I wish on the camera. I also am impressed with the warranty and service from bhphoto, a bad cable and it took less than 45 seconds for them to commit to sending me a new one. yes 45 seconds and we were done. I am disappointed in myself for not having bought one of these years ago. One of the most frustrating "first-world problems" has to be working on a desktop PC to have the power cut off briefly, lose your unsaved work, and risk damage to your hardware. Lucky for me, I had this UPS on my wishlist and an Amazon lightning deal came out of the blue and marked it down with a very tempting discount. I have tested the battery backup on my gaming desktop, monitor, router, and external backup drive simultaneously and it works great.
