Canada Customs Duty On Musical Instruments

Awesome that B&H handles all the customs fees for shipping to Canada and for a reasonable fee that is cheaper than you paying and doing all the work yourself! Best price around too! The F1 Rim is a must have for cars in-game that don't have a traditional wheel, such as GT3. It has lots of working buttons and dials. Great for changing settings on the fly! The switches even work as PS Share/PS Home/ and menu settings.

B&H's price was the best I could find. (It's still outrageous, but that's not B&H's fault.) I live in Canada and their $1.00 import fee to look after all the customs paperwork and import charges was stellar. Shipping was very quick.

I normally use my MixPre 6 II as my primary recorder for violin, cello, and other musical instruments. However, setting up the MixPre is always a hassle, and I don't like how it has to be powered. When something requires too much time and effort, there's a tendency to hesitate in using it. Since getting this recorder, I can start my recordings within a matter of seconds (literally). I can easily bring it anywhere, and it has become my preferred device for sound recording. The sound quality with the built-in mic is excellent, comparable to the MixPre II (of course depending on the mic you use). It is better than the Zoom H6 I used to own, especially for recording musical instruments. I also have the DJI MIC 2, which is excellent for voice and highly portable. However, when it comes to recording musical instruments, it falls short compared to the PCM-A10.

I ordered these to monitor musical instruments recording and to watch music videos and movies on my laptop. The clarity and the power of the iLouds are outstanding. I added a subwoofer (usually not needed) to reinforce the low frequencies and I now feel like I have a home theater system. I highly recommend them.
