For the cost, this Mic is absolutely amazing. I run Windows 7 and as soon as I plugged it in it was ready to go. The playback was great..clear. I would recommend this product.

I use this as a desktop mic for narrating screencasts. It also works well with Windows 7 speech recognition for dictation and PC control. The Go Mic records clear, strong audio signal. It has some capability to serve as a playback speaker, which is a feature I don't use. When first plugged in, the driver set the Go Mic as my default playback speaker, which silenced my normal PC speakers. It was confusing at first, but easy to correct in Windows through the Sound control panel.

I use it to record and playback audio from Pro Tools 10 on Windows 7. What can I say, Its a really really fast Barracuda 2TB at a price NO ONE WILL BEAT!

Doing voice work from the home studio, I occasionally encounter clients who'd like to participate in the direction of a session, or at least hear playback on-the-fly. There are ways to accomplish this, but the end results always sound less-than-great, plus it's just plain awkward juggling headphones & other equipment trying to make it work. Bottom line, an actual phone interface is necessary. The issue I kept finding on all the models I'd checked out was that they required a land line, something I'd given up in favour of a cellphone nearly twenty years ago. The Daptor 2 is the perfect solution for my situation -- it's just a box; simply plug the appropriate line-in/line-out cables into the console, adjust the mix/minus settings on the board, attach the cell, and voila! Clients can now participate in the session & hear playback with ease, and I don't have to consider having a land line installed, so it's a win-win for everybody.

Buy it. You won't regret it. For playback these are wonderful. Sounds so clear and for well produced/mixed music you hear everything. Vice versa for things that aren't. You hear everything. I still use headphones to properly mix/edit with.

These are the best. I use them to while recording music & for playback on video. they are very crisp, you can hear every little nuance. Great deal!

Cannot wait to try this out! I hear about needing a filter to protect the glass but I am very careful. The new lens is a 600 is a bit heavy so I am being proactive with this one!
