Cannot Ping Router From Vista Wireless Pc

Great purchase for an older PC for wireless connection to the new router.

Love this router it gives me the best ping when i play my pubg mobile game

I’ve been using the router to game and it has gave me some of the best experience and low ping gaming, I usually ping 7-13 the most on games like call of duty and many more , I have been using the port forward and the game profiles . I've been using my oculus for just about 3 weeks and have hardly scratched the surface. I mainly just play 'Eleven' ping pong, and I still am in love with the machine and can't wait to get my PC cord to use the PC VR function and games.

I use these cables to connect my pc with the new wireless AC router and modem. They look solidly built, are thicker than your average Ethernet cables and are somewhat stiffer (perhaps due to the double protection layer). Simply wanted the best cables and I think these are it. Cannot say anything on the speed benchmarks, but I think when we get Google fiber the throughput may come in handy.

I recently had my internet provider to increase my speed (from 150mbps download to 330mbps). It turned out that my old Wi-Fi card that I had on my PC couldn't quite handle the speed even though it was rated that it can. I bought this card out of curiosity just to see if it was the PC that was causing the bottleneck and not the card. Once I installed it, the download transfer rate just about doubled compared to the old card. In fact, the speed is about the same I'm getting if I had the network cable connected directly from the modem to the PC Ethernet port itself. Anyway, I would advise anyone to first check their wireless router or wireless modem/router to see what Wi-Fi standard it uses. If you still using an old modem/router, this card will only go as fast as that set up allows it to.

I operate a home-based PC repair business and have occasion to setup networks for customers in my community. This is a great basic router for many of my senior clients who only have one computer and just need an inexpensive router for wireless access. I also have set it up as a wired hotspot (disabling the DHCP) for customers who have large homes or a shop attached to their house where the primary router doesn't get good wireless coverage in a given area. It doesn't give blazing fast wireless speed, but they do hold up to electrical storms pretty well (we are in the country and power flickers are common with our electrical service). For the price, I think their great.

Completely satisfied! Cannot believe the difference the upgrade to this router has made! No more buffering or complete disruption. Setup was a bit time consuming but our internet provider takes most the blame!
