Cannot Read External Hard Drive Windows 10

I normally use Seagate for external hard drives because they can be read by both Windows and Mac without a problem. I bought 2 of these WD hard drives because I need to consolidate my hard drives and these are very good. Recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Seagate external hard drive is amazing! I grabbed the 8TB and it's a beast! The read and write speeds are as advertised at 250mbs. This external hard drive can read and while, while being used and playing games. This is my current steam library all on this external drive. I can play games on this device even when downloading. It handles all my tasks! it's also used for my emulators with this incredible reads and write. I my previous device WD black external would freeze all the time, when moving on to the HDD or playing a game while downloading causing the game to crash. If you are a gamer and plan to play games & download at the same time or use this machine as emulation station, this external HDD is for you! I actually hope they come with 18tb or 20tb model cause I would buy again!

I wanted an external hard drive to put all my digital photos on. I have both Mac computers as well as PC's. Other hard drives would not let me read the Jpeg files on both computers. This was allowed me to read and write on both. All my pictures are backed up! Awesome!

I use this hard drive to backup my pictures and data. It easily mounts on my Windows 10 computer at home and is easy to use.

I've used this device for over a year. I used it pretty hard when I first got it. It was a drive for a Windows 10 IoT install on a Raspberry Pi 4 for almost 2 months. The drive still writes data at around 230 MB/s and reads at almost 380 MB/s consistently. On USB 2, it starts at around 300 MB/s but slows down to 6.7 MB/s and stays there for the rest of the transfer. This is a solid USB drive. Best one I've used so far.

I replaced a 250gb hard drive in an old 2760P running 64-bit Windows 10 Pro. The drive was cloned using Paragon HD 15 and secured using Bitlocker. The old 2760P is humming along nicely now. Sandisk has software that you can download to trim the disk and keep track of wear, etc. Great price and fast delivery from my favorite online store, B&H!!!!!!

I only have the operating system (windows 10) and a couple of programs on this hard drive. My desktop recognized it immediately and it boots up and shuts down much faster than before.
